I lived in Philly in the 90's. I hate the Flyers but watching Lindros play was just incredible. He was the best hockey player I have ever seen... period. This includes Gretzky, Lemiux, etc. If he did not get hurt .......

I don't want to be moving pieces like that right now with the way this team is set up.
Comparing that would be Strome, a top defenseman prospect (Reinhart or Pulock), Dal Colle and another piece.

I agree. I see no need for a huge move at this point. Try Strome with JT instead if the Isles have concerns with the top line.

If one of them would have to go I'd be out at the price also. I'm not even convinced that Dreger's report about Hall was 100% accurate.

He "retired" from the NHL so his rights aren't retained by any team. The Devils are currently paying a $250k recapture penalty every season until 2025 because this happened.

He's a UFA.

I'm only like half serious about this, but seriously...what the hell damage could it do to call him up and see if he's interested in playing LW for Tavares.
