No team ever gets fair value regardless, so the best deal for EDM will be to try and get the most aspects that can fill holes.......
- Ur Not Me

Of course...

Doesn't Edmonton need:

Top-pair defenseman (Reinhart down the road)
Center (Bailey)
Winger to replace Hall (Dal Colle)
Goalie

What else do they need? Haven't really looked into it

Whatever, he can't play when Boychuk and Hammer are healthy. I'm going to take the high road and just hope that they stay healthy. That gets us what we want too.

wow about Patches, kid is unreal and has gotten much better every year. He just doesn't get the exposer bc he's not flashy, just a dominant LW
I think its bias bc he's American born playing in MTL, so most of the talk is Subban & Price who are both canadien

Hate to say it but I think he's the best MTL F on roster...... And top 3-5 LW in the game today

That guy I would trade more for than Hall- because with that coach, you know he takes care of his own end of the rink, or he'd have a nice seat in a luxury box from which to watch the game. This is what I mean about having good players who work hard vs. having Ovechkin skating around in circles waiting for the puck to come to him.

besides D & G, they lack F depth good enough to fill out bottom 6 roles. A new head scout that doesn't take a genius to know who the 1st pick should be....
At the C position, they need size.

They could use players like Clutter & Kuli to help the depth, things like that.... They are in bad shape but if they trade there pieces properly can fix things quicker than whats been going on now....

The last two games we played against them he was like one of those annoying kids that show up right before puck shoot starts at the rinx. Hanging behind the line doing nothing waiting for the pass. Have zero idea how Trotz stomachs it?

Of course. I was just hoping he would get picked up so it wasn't even an option if the Isles have more injury woes.

Patches is slowly becoming a 40g scorer w/who at C????

Gally is finally having a breakout year but Patches is flat out dominant.....

As I said yesterday, kreider + hagelin + skjei + 1st for hall. Gives them a top 6 lw to replace hall, a good depth forward that is defensively responsible, a highly touted defensive prospect, and a 1st.

I know its a lot... But Hall is proven and still young. Everyone I offered besides Bailey is unproven and you can even lump Bailey into that too...

Gotta give to get and I think this is fairly even. Just dont know if Edmonton would think a long these lines...

- Bags502

Yeah, your offer was reasonable if the GM really had a hard on for Hall- except for Dal Colle, who I can't justify moving yet. I might offer them Collberg instead. I just hate the idea of trading that many players at once for one guy. That never seems to work out.

Grabner on IR... Strait survives waivers yet again ffs.

However, waivers likely means he's dropping a level....bug-bye

This is actually a very fair offer.

I thought Reinhart, dal collet and Grabner and oilers fans laughed at me

For Hall, u might have to include either Dal Colle or Lee. Got to give to get.

I doubt they'll take two inconsistent fwds, a decent prospect, and a first rounder in 2016.

I liked it also and thought that the Rags wouldn't do it anyway... But from an Oilers point, I would.....

Its a similar package to the one that got us Nash. Kreider has a higher ceiling than dubi or anisimov and skjei is a better prospect than erixon.

Reinhart, Dal Colle, Bailey and goalie Prospect...

Heavy price to pay but you are getting a top player in the league back at the age of 23.

I wouldn't call hagelin inconsistent and skjei is one of the top defensive prospects in the league. Projects to be a top pairing shutdown defenseman who is often compared to mcdonagh.

Yeah...no... I'd imagine he's making more than the league minimum, and everyone already has sh*tty defensemen who make less than him.
