You're forgetting that it's still a lottery. Just being the worst doesn't guarantee you the 1st pick. Plus even with this win streak they're still only in a tie for 26th place. It's not like they've climbed up to 20th.

I don't move Myers for Hall. That's an even trade - oil needs to give me more. I like that we're building from the back. We can find scoring elsewhere. We can't find stud dmen coming into their prime with great longterm caphits.

Agree with this. Myers needs to stay. If he is that valuable, Why trade him away? Can't teach Tall.

Look at the standings, those other teams are worse, we aren't close to the 1st or 2nd pick. The fire sale is going to start in Arizona very soon and with the Canes as well.

So if this sorry cluster of players, that we thought would be more entertaining but still get us to 30th, is actually good enough to hang with a bunch of teams...does that mean with all the prospects we have that we should be good enough in 2 years to be battling for playoff series wins?

If so, does that mean that we should therefore look to trading some of these picks for NHL ready players...young future top 6 prospects?

I haven't heard anything, I posted what I read off of Roto World today. If I hear anything i'll pass it along but like I mentioned before, I think this is all the media starting this.

I'd move Myers for Hall, just my opinion. People will move Myers for Mantha from the Wings but not for Hall?
