Sweeten the pot with additional 1st rd picks if necessary.
- SuperCat

They still hung up on you. They're going to want something that can help them sooner, rather than later. First round draft picks, especially ones in the 20+ range aren't going to do that.

-Trade Pysyk (former C of the Edm Oil Kings), Enroth (his stock is very hot right now), and the Sabres 1st overall choice in this yr's draft, to Edm for T. Hall.

-Trade Myers to Col. for Ryan O'Riley.

-Keep Stewart, lose Hodgson & Stafford.

T. Hall/Reinhart/R. O'Riley

Grigorenko is playing for Mitchell tonight. I don't think they called up anybody for Weber.

I'm not so sure...

1st-ly, if they trade Hall, they'll earn either McDavid or Eichel by default... Both a slated to be better than Hall.

Now you get 2 young, high-quality, NHL ready players to fill key holes in the roster.

Then (up to) 3 first rd picks in an elite draft (to use or trade)?!!

That sounds like a pretty good rebuild plan to me. Trading Hall is an obvious sign that Edm is drinking the McEichel kool-aid!!

Luke Adam for Jerry D'Amigo
- rmiethaner

"Talent Analysis

D’Amigo is a strong, powerful forward who can motor at both ends of the ice. He has a tireless work-ethic and leaves everything on the ice but has not yet produced at a level matching his energy and competitiveness. He’s a proven defensive player and provides offense in a supporting role. D'Amigo is a valuable player at the AHL level and has performed well in a lower line role when called-up. Whether he has the skill to stay in an NHL lineup on a permanent basis is not yet known. "

espo was on home ice, or whatever they call it on xm and sirus this days

he was inspired by the sabres play
he also said if a player is on board for a tank, how can you want that player moving forward
nothing but good things to say about them

the other guy said maybe they are playing with a little extra effort so an 18 year old does not take their job away, guess he forgot about coho when he made that statement

Hoping he ends up on a line with some "skill." I use that word cautiously, but he's not going to do any good with Kaleta and scrub X.

I haven't minded Coho's game post-scratch....but I don't expect him to play that way forever.
