Careful grandpa, grab your cane before you hobble towards those kids to whack them.

Depending on the +s needed, I'd be fine with Risto or Zadorov being part of it.

I'd rather trade the unknown in them than the known+getting better in Myers, all of that for what should be an 80+ point guy for a LONG time on the roster.

I see what your saying but the sabres can afford to be cautious w "potential" ....and to me those two guys along w girgensons and Reinhart are as close to untouchable as you can get right now.....

the sabres games are fun to watch and I have not enjoyed watching the sabres since the briere/drury days

the bills.........................
the coaching sucks and the gm missed the boat by not addressing the qb right. This bills d is better than the super bowl years

I have a similar thing going on.

No response to a series of questions I asked in an email Monday night last week.

This morning lady calls back and said she was out Friday. I said "So??"

EDIT: Many people don't like talking to me, especially on the phone.

The thing that is "wrong" with a fresh cream ale is if you drink more than 2 or 3, or combine them with chicken wings, they turn into a "gift that keeps on giving."
- Der Kaiser

He thing wrong is there's no such thing as a "fresh" cream ale. It comes out of the vat skunky.

This team has struggled on offense, I'm fine giving up on such a good prospect on the D-side to get a dynamic front line guy like Hall. The Sabres have, as many have noted around here, been blessed with good goaltending for such a long time. Add some more firepower up front and games like last night are routine wins (3-4 goals allowed mean nothing if you're scoring more than we've seen from this team over recent years).

I dunno, I know we don't have tons of depth in the defensive pipeline, but we don't have anyone the caliber of Hall, IMO, so it's a worthy move.

before I got transferred to her voice mail, I got another contact person that watches over her department

if you are in public relations, paid employee for a team that has not played a playoff game in 14 years, putting a backers club on the web site should not be a big deal, right?

it has been 4 months

hell if I never returned e mails and phone calls from work, I would be out of a damn job

I have no problem listening to proposals involving Myers....I have not given up on him yet, but if the price is right he can be moved......

And I totally agree on your assessment of the Bills....but barring a loss to the Raiders I am pretty sure Marrone is back next year....and I'm worried we will lose Schwartz

And to think, that black dude was telling grandpa how terrible Genny Cream was. I don't blame him for getting angry.

They are still too busy giving all the refs the remaining volume of free hookers after that game they won for them on Sunday.

Personally I couldn't stand to be around him. Talk about a guy with a messiah complex! No matter what you did, he would always one up you.

I dk....i can listen to Myers, Pysyk, McCabe .....but just my opinion I like Hall but at this point I don't think he's worth one of those two Dmen..... Especially since the locker room stuff is coming out now. I know the guy can score...but he's no Kane or Perry at least yet...and I feel like he plays reckless at times which can and has led to injuries, so while I am not totally against a move for him Risto especially is not part of it....just my thought

Then you want get Hall, you know that. They want a number 1 D man for a number 1 winger.

True statement...

I'm not 100% tunnel visioned on Hall though either...

There are plenty of other guys that could be had at the right price but I don't believe for a minute that we are going to be "buyers" regardless.

We have seen how well Murray can take apart a team and get draft picks just like Regier could.... but now we will get to see if Murray can BUILD a team unlike Regier ever could.

I'd start with Pysyk, the Isles 1st, and StL 1st.

Go from there.
