He does not suck. Not even close.

He's the only one, or one of the only ones on that team with some heart. Guy busts his tail every game.

If you'd rather have Boedker than Hall, you don't know enough about either player.

- TheSabresTaco

Welp. Im not high on Hall. But I said the price for him is too high and id take a flier on boedker. Terminology. Price too high vs flier. Big gap in difference/value/return. If what you gathered from my previous post is that id rather have boedker than hall then you need a thesaurus. But I want neither tbh.

Myers, grigorenko/ hodgson, nyi 1st for Taylor hall get it done TM

That would have to get it done, right? I can't imagine them wanting Hodgson over Grigs but it is worth a try.

Boedker lately seems have to been vastly overhyped in the past few weeks. He's Drew Stafford. Yay.

Taylor Hall is an incredibly dynamic player who just last season scored 80 points in 75 games. He's fast, he's physical and he's a damn good hockey player. He's struggling on a team who's offense has all but puttered out and still has 18 points on the season. Yes, the price is high for him. But he's a number 1 LW and probably one of if not the best LW's in the entire league. He's 23, the perfect age for this team and would make Sam Reinhart look like a superstar. He had a more than point per game at the age of 22. I would over pay for Taylor Hall 8 days a week. I know this is just a hockey board full of fans, but not taking a serious look into one of the most talented LWs in the entire NHL would be a massive error.

HH, I felt I always treated you pretty fair. What's with the attention seeking and insulting people who are here a lot?

Want to drop the act and just, like, be a normal human being?

- nfph

Attention seeking ?
Way off base pal.
Why because I just call em as I see em ?
Where have I insulted anyone since my very last ban?
I haven't!
The truth is the truth, it's not insulting nor attention seeking.
Some people do need to step back from their internet usage and realize that there is life besides having their face and their brain jammed into the internet all day and night long.
I feel sorry for their families, sincerely.
Listen, i'm not for everyone.
I am always that guy that will tell you the way it is, not what you want to hear, much like my Pops did.
A safe and Merry Christmas to everyone and their families with the exception of a few here.
See ya after my next ban.

People want Boedker over Hall? i've heard and seen it all now. To much of a love fest with Myers around here, I mentioned before I would only move him if it was for the right player and Hall is that player.

How many 24 year old borderline-superstars are available? Price will be high.

As it should be for Hall, just like it should be with Myers as well. I think Hall is 23 but i'm not for sure on that.

No, I think I misinterpreted Dynamic a bit. He'd rather simply look into Boedker than Hall. Boedker helps this team zero unless we swap him with Coho. But regarding the rest of your statement, yes to all.

Just turned 23. Semantics. But yeah. He's borderline, if not already. (frank) I'd love him here. Myers + for sure.

If there is a chance and I mean a chance ( I doubt there is) to get Hall, Murray should inquire as to what it will take. The Oilers need a D man like Myers and we need a young goal scorer which is what Murray has said he wants. He has mentioned it in the offseason and also mentioned it in trade talks regarding Myers. It makes to much sense for both teams.

IMO, I think this is all media driven to send a message to the players or make them think twice, try and turn it around.

He also apparently has issues buying in and more or less wants to just do his own thing out there. Not sure that would be a great addition to a team that is basically winning on cohesiveness at the moment.

Great player, great winger - I'd be happy to have him in our jersey... but I personally wouldn't be willing to pay what it would take to get him. Hodgson, prospects, picks - sure. But that won't get it done. I'd otherwise feel we were giving up strength in positions I think are more important - defense, center - to build around a winger. To me reeks of Rick Nash in CBJ, AO in WAS, and yeah - Hall in EDM.

Which first? I think they would need back a top forward prospect back in return. It might have to include Grigs or Armia, possibly Reinhart.

The sabres will never be able to draft a taylor hall. Ppg player that has elite written all over him. We've already proven that we can get great dman outside of the top 10. How much do you think it would cost?

Non Buffalo first, that is for sure. I am not willing to offer any more. I am not giving up the farm for Taylor Hall.

If the don't take that deal, then someone else can give up their team for him. If he was a Center it is a different story.

You wouldn't do it for Myers, Armia and non-Buffalo 2015 first? I don't see that as giving up the farm. I love Myers but he is not (yet) elite and may never be. We have a zillion picks. From that perspective you are trading depth to dramatically improve your #1 wing without giving up any of your center prospects.

Hall may or may not be on the block but most here won't give up Myers to get him, a player that can score, young and can grab points every night and people do n't want him. Middle of the road players is all everyone is use to having on this team and players like that aren't getting us anything. To many people are stuck in the " oh well we tried" area. Murray has stated he wants a player like Hall, not come right out and say Taylor Hall but a young goal scorer.

It's time for the change to happen and Murray should inquire to see what it would take to get him if he's on the block. We are not going to get the 1st or 2nd pick so IMO this is as close to it. We can get another D man will he be 6' 8" ? no but we can get a repalcement, teams will up against the cap next year and we will have money and picks to get one.

My bad, I thought you meant giving up Armia + Myers/Foligno/1st.

I would consider that, but it would hurt to give that up, but I guess that makes it fair.

if reinhart and girgens are your 1/2 center moving forward, it's not a bad thing.

you still have gringo and 3 first rd picks to address the third center
