If any of u derps were actually any good at trolling, ud realize they aren't tanking, they're trying to win.
Which is worse.

so much worse...

Did you see Perron's interview after the last game? I've never seen a player look so defeated and lost.

Does that include eveeything you said two weeks ago or just this stuff?

Haha seriously. One thing "right" and he rubs it in. What about everything else that was wrong?

Also, Ek, sorry man, not that hard to call that they'd have fired Eakins. Your source on that was common sense, wasn't it?

I didn't.

Next step is players asking for the door.

Lets hope the new coach can instill some confidence and get them to some sort of respectability and hope.
But imo, I really don't see it happening without some roster moves made.
Which is the next problem as gms are offering mact pennies on the dollar to try and take advantage of the situation. As they should.

it's just all bad

I just don't understand that given the lack of playoffs every year how anyone in Oilers Hockey Ops has a job at this point.

It's a mystery to any Oilers fan that does not have their tongue still planted firmly in Lowe's ass.

I might be in the minority here; but imo mact absolutely deserves time to fix this garbage fire. He hasn't had the job for even 2 seasons.

I'll go a step furthur and say that from his words and what he wants for the direction of this squad, I also think he's the right guy for the job.

Lowe and co can go. Either way I don't think it makes much difference

No, he didn't.

Believe it or not, that's how they actually play most of the time.

I disagree. They keep recycling guys who have not had success in Lowe, MacTavish and Howson(who was a disaster in CBJ). I guess I really wish I had Darryl Katz money. Cause if I were him, so many poeple would be fired it would make Vince McMahon and Donald Trump poop their pants.

Is it bad that I still want him to fall down a flight stairs only to get back up and immediately fall down another?

He can't fire his boyhood hero's!!! F'n alumni are in every part of this organization and if it were successful... the rink still sells out, the season ticket base is secure and they got a pertty new rink on the way. Katz doesn't give a flying (frank) about the fans and thats the worse part...

MacTavish was a successful coach considering the plug rosters he had to work with imo.
And as I said; he inherited a garbage fire. I'd like to give him time.

But fair enough

This is the 'they don't care about losing' line of hb thinking.

It just makes no sense on so many levels

Its not even fun piling on you guys anymore. Honestly, its like you guys are in permanent Tabasco enema mode!

I don't think anyone in the organization is intentionally wanting this but ffs, its been long enough and the plethora of coaches is OBVIOUSLY not the reason...

When things hit rock bottom....no where to go but up.Let MacTavish sit behind the bench through this season. Come May 1st

Move #1:New Coach
5 Year Deal

Jeff Blashill: It could be just a matter of time before Blashill lands an NHL job. Mike Babcock has made that clear in recent interviews, as the Grand Rapids Griffins bench boss is one of the most respected AHL coaches in the league. He’s done an excellent job developing Detroit’s prospects in Grand Rapids and helped lead the team to a Calder Cup last season

Move #2:
A new GM from the ranks of Asst GMs from the best run teams in the league. LA,Chicago,Tampa Bay,Anaheim or Boston

Moves #3-15:
Other than MacDavid...draft and trade for Defencemen. Yes Hawks re built with Toews,Sharp,Hossa and others but their true strenghth is on the back end.

Keith,Seabrook,Hammer,Oduja and more recently TVR,Dahlback,,etc etc. Even traded for a #6 DMan yesterday.

Move#4:
Trade for an up and coming Goalie x 3 of them.

Didn't an old owner of Senators admit to a reporter that the Sens tanked for Alexander Daigle?

Not saying that the Pens didn't tank for Lemieux; Just that many, many teams have done it as well.

- s0rcerer1984

for 6 years straight!

5 new coaches with no major core player moves...either they are the tankiest bunch of tankers who ever tanked or their management really is the worst in NHL history

He always does this. Brags like a fool when he gets something right and never bothers to acknowledge or follow up on the 99.9 percent of things he gets wrong.
