We are playing like complete poop. Like, run out of the building, poop. It's amazing we're not losing. - potvin05
We're playing the hottest team in the league (8 game winning streak). 0-0 at the end of the 1st is great.
The special teams have to produce tonight! |

I sure hope that Thursday was the last we'll ever see of Brian Strait. - Snowblind

Bossy's heart was on offense, but Al Arbour used to make ALL the forwards do defensive drills, so Bossy had no choice but to become a decent defensive player.
You may recall from the old days that I was a huge Mike Peca fan. When he led the Sabres to playoff success, he always bested Alexei Yashin who was the better offensive player.
I would probably rate Gordie Howe ahead of any of these guys for his all around game. - JohnScammo
I think Bossy was underrated defensively. I heard Bobby Clarke mention how good Bossy was defensively. I think JT needs to be better on the D side. JT worked on his skating and needs to work on his D. I'm not expecting him to be a shutdown forward. |

Oh I agree. 0-0 after that period is a win for us.
They're outplaying the poop out of us though. There's no denying that. Frans trying that fancy schmancy pass when we had solid possession on the PP annoyed the poop out of me too. |

That PP looked wonderful. - Cptmjl
Frans Nielsen skates in unguarded at the faceoff circle, there's lots of traffic in front of the crease, but instead of shooting, he tries sort of a drop pass to no one and the 'Hawks easily intercept it. That was their best chance. |

Agreed. LOL. When the PP is not clicking the coach should tell the guys to keep it simple get the puck to the net, especially against the best PK in the league. You try fancy stuff it will bite you. We are LUCKY it did not in the first.
I guess that's to much to expect from Crappy. |

Frans and a couple of these forward get a little too cute at times. |

Nothing better than capuano changing his defensive pairing with five seconds left in the pp so when the puck comes around the boards theres nobody there and the player coming out of the box gets hit with the puck. Its not so little things like that cost this team games. |

Yep. Probably just getting their legs back after their balls to the walls watching video practice. |

So instead of batting it away with a hand, we try and knock it out of the air with a stick. Come on. |

I noticed that, too. But it was Reinhart and he's a rookie. He'll know better next time. |
