How did Sanguinetti look in Dec after his draft year?
- Just5

I think about that sometimes. Can you imagine what things would be like had they taken Sanguinetti and then another team like Buffalo or NJ took Giroux?

Wow......

I think about it too. I doubt Richards and Carter get dealt without Giroux here. What a mess this team would be.

I would take Giroux over Carter and Richards any day. Giroux scores as much as both of them combined.

I cannot believe this.. Was he nervous or did he just have no idea who Mandela was... I bet the players on his team have had a blast with this..

Really enjoyed seeing Laughton on the 2nd PP.

I think this shows positive progress by Berube.

He seems to be making the right line up moves but at a cautious pace, slower then maybe a lot of us would like, but eventually he gets there.

I'm giving him credit for this.

I wonder if Bellemare to the 3rd line with Couts and Read will be next?
Although I admit that Umby is starting to resemble a hockey player lately.

I don't disagree. The Flyers have two elite players in Giroux, and Voracek. A solid goaltender in Mason, Couturier, B. Schenn, and Simmonds are a strong supporting cast. That's a total of 6 players. The rest of the roster is below average.

Eventually Laughton will produce. He is a lot faster than I thought originally. Definitely a piece for the future on this team.

Laughton probably should have been here from day 1

True, scoring is becoming an issue. But the mish mosh on defense is a far bigger concern than not having a sniper.

Think about this current roster plus Carter/Richards and minus G, Jake, Simmonds, b Schenn and Couts

I thought Umberger played his best on the west coach trip. I feel he's reverted back to his ineffective ways since.

PEB should be on the 3rd line and Raffl should be on the 2nd PP unit in front of the net imo

The one I try to envision is how the team would look with Weber on D.

But with fewer picks and much less cap space. Sixers might have more draft picks than the Flyers this year

But the Flyers had no control over that decision. That was all on the Preds. The Flyers had the choice to draft Giroux.

If the Sixers get the # 1 pick this year, they have to trade it. No room for Okafor with Noel, and Embiid on board.

Nope. You take Okafor. Deal with the issues later. What if Okafor turns out to be Duncan? You can't pass on that. Be like the Flyers passing on Hanifin because they have too many dmen in the farm system and need forwards.

Sixers could also take Mudiay
