last time I saw terror i think was 2008-2009 I came out of that show with 2 black eyes
They were crazy as poop in the early 2000s. I haven't been to a show recently, but I suspect their shows are a lot calmer since they're getting more and more popular even a little mainstream I think.
It's funny even wearing a Terror shirt makes you a target at some shows. I was at a Cruel Hand show back in 2009 and got clothes lined by some dude for it.

- 2Real

Yeah, that first album got them a bunch of crazy hype and their shows were completely nuts. Like I said, cracked my skull stage diving. But now they're some big Ozz Fest-type band, and their albums were never the same.

Some dude clothes lined you for wearing a Terror shirt?

True story: On 9/11/2002, my friend wore a "Terror" shirt to school and didn't even think about it until he started having people get up in his face about it.

I don't think I like your 'mingle with everyone, do my own thing' clique, pal.
- wolfhounds

Know what they call people who "mingle with everyone, but do their own thing"?

Terrorists.

I never saw Breakdown, but I saw Killing Time 2 years ago at This is Hardcore and they were flat-out amazing. Only thing better was No Redeeming Social Value starting a beach ball/pillow fight.

YAH, hardcore!! I had my NJHC jacket , got my sXe tattoo when i was younger. I grew up during the Turning Point, Mouthpiece, Resurrection, No Escape , Lifetime (when they were still on New Age records) era of Philly and NJ HC.. So many good shows at Revival , City Gardens , and Middlesex County College.

I still listen to Supertouch and Turning Point..Both of those bands hold up for me.

I think anyone that listened to that style of music has certain bands we all listened to..GB, Quicksand, Judge , Burn, YoT..pretty much take every band on Revelation Records early line up..

anyway...now i want to stage dive.

I'm a fan of Sleigh Ride off of the album "A Shiny New Christmas" and, like a dork, "The Christmas Song" by Nat King Cole. But it's basically a 3-way tie along with The Waitresses.

hahaha. I was the "next wave" after all of those bands. Straight to the Point, H2O (3rd album), One Up, Blacklisted, Over My Dead Body, Carry On. I've seen Lifetime do reunions (Gorilla Biscuits and Judge, too) but I have to think it's not the same (by the way, the Judge reunion at Philly sucked).

I have one tattoo, and it's a huge sXe one on my right calf.

And, as opposed to every other straight edge person ever, I can't stand YoT. Not only because Ray sold out and does reunions, but I can't stand his voice.

Yea, I was at Internal Affairs last show in LA and Terror played. Scott pointed at a few of us to get up on stage and jump off or he'd kick our asses.
The way I see it is that Terror needs to make money now because playing One with the Underdogs and Lowest of the Low weren't going to keep them going forever. Best time to catch them is at a small show now and not a festival (frank) those barriers they put up at festivals.

Love that one. Easily Top 5 for me.

Lately, I've been enjoying this Christmas song:

Don't judge, mkay?

- johndewar

My top 5 fave Christmas tunes:

5. David Bowie & Bing Crosby: Little Drummer Boy- Yeah its cheesy, but it always makes me smile

4. Jingle Bell Rock- Catchy and fun to play

3. Cheech & Chong: Santa Claus and his Old Lady-

2. Happy Xmas, war is Over: John Lennon-Take Yoko out and it would be #1

1. The Kinks: Father Christmas- Love this song!

Cali definitely was the Youth Crew/SxE capital of the world for a while back when they had IA. There was so much going on out there in the early 2000's. I think Wrench from Ten Yard Fight had his band (Stand and Fight) out in CA.

And yeah, they'd never be able to pay the bills the same way if they just kept rewriting those first 2 albums. Kind of like Hatebreed, they're not a band that headlines with One King Down types, they're a band that tours with Slayer.

It's cheesy and easy, but I do like the TSO version best. I will listed to your Christian metalcore band and revisit shortly.

Im with you on YoT..I actually preferred Shelter to YoT..I didn't find Ray's voice as annoying with Shelter.

I have listened to this version. It's...heavy, I guess. But that doesn't mean it's anything special to me. It's fine, though.

Here's xmasx doing "Rudolph", one of the most ridiculous things ever. The breakdown at around 2:00...just....wow.

Did you ever get to seeing Trapped Under Ice? They were so (frank)ing good with their first 2 albums but got into the Terror trap too... needed to make money.
