If you have HBO (or a GO password ), I'm thinking you'd enjoy the Seattle episode of Sonic Highways.

I just remember a ton of kids w/ Tool t-shirts in middle school... usually the same ones that would rock Alice in Chains, Melvins, Helmet, etc gear.

They probably had instruments and stuff. Am I right?
- wolfhounds

Oh yeah, there were instruments all up in there like you wouldn't believe! Some guy was also like shouting over top of them, it was a really neat trick.

I don't think I like your 'mingle with everyone, do my own thing' clique, pal.

I was more of a Chicago/DC hardcore kid... Shellac, Fugazi, Bad Brains... those first two eps of the show were my jam.

And that guy probably had arms, legs, at least a few fingers, and thought he was all cool and stuff.

Friggin' musicians.

Fugazi had one tolerable song. I'm sorry, but Ian McKay and his millions of dollars were only good for Teen Idles and Minor Threat. Bad Brains, on the other hand...

I never saw Breakdown, but I saw Killing Time 2 years ago at This is Hardcore and they were flat-out amazing. Only thing better was No Redeeming Social Value starting a beach ball/pillow fight.

I was never into The Deftones or Coal Chamber enough to warrant wearing them.

I'm not ashamed to admit that my taste leans more toward Iowa grunge bands.

Love that one. Easily Top 5 for me.

Lately, I've been enjoying this Christmas song:

I cracked my skull during Terror's set at the original Reach the Sky finale back in (I think) 2002-2003. I saw them at the TLA in Philly with Unearth a bunch of years ago. I saw them at the 2003 Posi Numbers in Wilkes Barre where a bunch of dudes got the poop beat out of them and the show got shut down for a while. But I haven't seen them in a long time.

last time I saw terror i think was 2008-2009 I came out of that show with 2 black eyes
They were crazy as poop in the early 2000s. I haven't been to a show recently, but I suspect their shows are a lot calmer since they're getting more and more popular even a little mainstream I think.
It's funny even wearing a Terror shirt makes you a target at some shows. I was at a Cruel Hand show back in 2009 and got clothes lined by some dude for it.
