1-1 but not a good first period. Flyers caught in that cycle of defending, dumping it out to get a change, then jackets bringing it right back and starting all over. Flyers need to establish their forecheck. Team who forechecks more usually wins the game.

Every time Brayden Schenn scores, I can't help but to think how pissed I would be if we were to trade him. No one is untouchable but for me Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, Couturier, Mason, Del Zotto and the Schenn brothers both I wouldn't walk away from. Yes, I would stick with Luke until we find as physical a replacement. He's a young, physical, PK regular with a right handed shot. Laughton is definitely a player as well, I can't wait to see him at his peek. I know we need and want the stud defenseman but I think these guys would be better served us, rather than against us.

Read just glides out there. Very rarely see the extra effort, the legs churning in the ozone. I dont know whats happened with him
