Don't need expansion right now . Move Arizona to Vegas and Florida to Quebec . To shore things up first.

Florida has a ton of young talent. That would be about a hundred times better than sitting through an expansion team for 5 years. I thought the canadian government was going to devalue the canadian dollar to prevent everybody from going to the states to do their shopping. That would keep canadians disposable income in canada, but it would hurt canadian teams that pay players in american funds. Isnt that why the nordiques moved to colorado in the first place?

The dollar is going down big time . Now at 87 cents . May get to 75 according canadian economists. Screwing with my business . Canada is 25% of our sales . Plus shipping is way higher up there and sales tax . My Canadian distributor is feeling the squeeze.

Nordiques moved mostly because of the building the Colissee was just not an NHL arena anymore . New one is going to be amazing . 18,000 people even at 75 cent dollar is still better than 2500 at a full buck.

Considering dropping my cable provider and going with internet, air antenna, netflix, and hulu plus. Does anybody have any luck using a proxy with the nhl package on roku or chromecast?
- rover16

you will only get sports on internet streams, aside from local channels
kind of a pain

I switched to a roku, with netflix and hulu plus about 14 months ago

The only thing I miss is the golf majors on thursday/friday (watch it on the net) and the news when something breaking happens (cnn/fox)

it's a habit you have had your entire life, if you are open to change, you will be fine

I download stuff so I do not miss anything, if you are not open minded to download it can be a female dog

Gotcha, I moved quick and lite myself so left my big screen TV back home. I have been watching everything online since I moved to Illinois in June. I can't believe the money I was throwing away on the NFL Sunday Ticket and Center Ice over the years. I've watched every Bills and Sabres game online this season and found some good sites that I get strong signals from.

Goodmorniing All.
Me thinks the Tank will continue this week with these games. I'm going on Thursday night to see Calgary...only regret is Bennett is on the shelf rather than playing...but I do enjoy watching Monahan (was hoping he would be available at 8 when Sabres to Risto that year...and they have Bennett who I wanted last draft...should move to Calgary but that might be the only.ace with NHL hockey colder/snowier than Buf)

Anyway, thinking of getting reservations at 716.... What is the general consensus so far?. Do it /wait?

In other news:

"Bills' Marrone was unaware of Hughes' benching"

"..I was told he only played three snaps I think it was. It was a very limited amount. Someone said hardly played or maybe didn't play. I didn't know about that. I wasn't aware of that."

The only thing dumb about Marrone in this situation is saying all this to the public. But head coaches are not going to notice this typically unless they are specifically told, or it was their call. Head coaches do not send out player packages during a game.

He states in the article himself that he has told his staff that they are to make him aware of such things, presumably so he can either know or change that decision (being the "head coach" and all).

But yes, it's doubly moronic that he tells the press in this way

Yeah, I saw that in the article. I guess it's not a big deal that the d-line coach did it, but not telling the coach is where the problem lies. And then the head coach coming out and admitting it...oy...

What i was thinking as well. Been waiting for a while on the next major domino to fall in the whole expansion/relocation agenda, the latest in arizona may do it.

Thing there was that the current owners of the team weren't actually looking to sell, but Barroway made such a lucrative offer that they started looking at it.

Sounds to me like Barroway is just trying to flip a team to someone else.

Owners probably got wind of Barroway's intentions, which is why the deal fell through.

It must suck for the players, every year the media would rather talk about ownership situation than the actual team itself.

THE SABRES OBSERVER (KUKLA’S KORNER): Dave Davis cites TSN’s Pierre LeBrun claiming the Sabres are “really eager” to trade winger Chris Stewart sooner rather than later. LeBrun claims the Bruins and Senators are among those who’ve expressed interest in Stewart.
