I think Buffalo may get something for him at TDL from contending team ( maybe conditional 2-3rd pick pending on success of team)
I would look at him next year for a lot less money of course. Bring in some size and grit for third line

The only reason to do that would be to dump Umbegrer's cap hit.

I'm not a huge fan of Stewart. He's been inconsistent through out his career, and while he brings physical play and some offense, it's not as if he's a kid who needs a change of scenery.
