True, and good point...either i'm oversensitive to these things, or I'm not as concerned about the outcome as I'd normally be, or both lol

It's easy to jump in and start whaling on the first guy you come accross to send a message but sometimes the best play is to remain disciplined.

Larry David is a comedic genius.
- mhp

He's an annoying, whinny douche bag.

Leon is/was the only funny character in that show.

Sorry Seinfeld, Stiller, and David just aren't funny period.

They're a poor man's Mitch Hedberg/Steven Wright. Those two are/were comedic genius's.

That's just an IMO.

IMO one of the best scenes ever written in a sitcom.

Also one that hits home for some of us drinking folk. (3:17 mark)

Has to be a new record for you.
Took you a whole 2 & 1/2 pages before you made it to the stat sheet.

Rob Ray with his love fest for Stafford and Kaleta, he's a moron.
- SABRES 89

Not sure if you listen to Wgr550 via the internet or not but the bigger "morons" reside there at that station.
That station is infested with morons.
It's like, the most imperative piece of criteria to determine if you can get a job there is if you are indeed a moron.
Well, every radio personality that works there fits that description perfectly.
Sal (basement internet boy) may top my list but then again they are all quite "moronic" in one way or another.

Oh and by the way...

Also , for the people worrying about losing that very first pick (Generational type player).
Allow me to remind the posters here that we have three 1st round picks and two 2nd rounders .
That is a ton of ammo for Murray that if he wanted, he could package to get back to the top of the draft board next year.
A combination of those first 5 picks in the first 2 rounds and perhaps a goalie to a team (from our stable) may be very interesting to some teams.
A surplus of picks (building blocks for the future) may be what some teams would want in place of just ONE player.
If Murray really wants McDavid or Eichel it is not out of the realm of possibility that if we continue to win now and lose one of those first 2 picks that Murray can not put a package together to still get up there.
Having that many picks in the first 2 rounds can get anything done in my opinion.
The way the rest of this season plays out and the deals done at the deadline (giving away some of those picks or sitting on them) will tell me 100% what Murray may have up his sleeve when it comes to next years entry draft.
So just stop worrying about the winning and just enjoy your Buffalo Sabres.

MASH is still tops for me.
- Maximum Signal

Never cared for Seinfeld , the guys voice annoyed me.
Loved Mash!
But Threes Company, Cheers and All in the Family were my favorites.
Honorable mention to the Jeffersons.
There were plenty of good programs back in our day.
The junk on television now a days is just that, junk.
I never watch anything on television now besides Sports , my dvd collections of the old series I just mentioned and a few reality tv programs.
My favorite that I can't miss is The Deadliest Catch , Gold Rush and Extreme Loggers.
I watch those programs because I obviously respect a hard working man and I certainly respect them boys on those three programs.
Those boys on those crab boats are some of the hardest working mother bleepers you will surely ever find.
I know what I do and have done for 27 years now and how hard I have worked on major construction sites (mentally (running them) and physically) , not sure I could do what they do on those crab boats.
Not sure if I could hang with them and that's after chasing concrete for 27 years which is one of the most physically demanding jobs I have ever come across in my nearly half a century of life.
Tis why I have ENORMOUS respect for them.
A local #111 buddy of mine (the Macedonian madman I call him) wants us to go to Alaska one of these years and give it a go just to see if we can do it.
Perhaps we will one day, I would love to try it and work along side some boys that are very easy to respect.
Show I detest ?
I want to rip every single morons face off on that Duck dynasty show.

Just wrote this poem last month.

The life of a concrete man

Hurry..hurry..hurry, everything at lightning speed.
Concrete waits for no one,
not even Jesus Christ himself.

The harsh relentless sun beats you down into the very ground,
the very ground that you wish to pave.
Exhausted, dehydrated most days, you the concrete man,
you've been here before many times.

Rain, wind, sleet and snow,
also make things harder than they already are.
Day after day mother nature brings a challenge in some way,
wearing down and already ravaged body.

Hands resembling and elder senior.
Dry and cracked like the floor of the most arid desert.
Calloused and full of lumps.
Fingers that can only bend to form a claw.

A shoulder that misses it's cartilage that once lived there.
A back that stiffens after sitting down,
nothing a 20 pace walk can't straighten out eventually.

A lower back that brings THE pain ,
a gnawing pain....everyday,
everyday I ignore it to push through another day.

Knees that are numb and have no use for knee pads any longer.
Hernias that I count as I push them back home at work days end.
Feet unsure of whether they can walk another mile tomorrow.

I even hurry my sleep...I know.
A sleep so tortured and restless from the nightly head to toe pain.
Broken ..broken up sleep.
Yet I awaken to accept the challenge once more......

David Michael .............
