I honestly don't think Murray would want Eberle. He's a completely one dimensional forward that is small. Not exactly what we need.
We need a pure goal scorer, Eberle isn't it - sbroads24

You know, I keep seeing comments like this. Last time I checked, people are more than welcome to change the subject to something more interesting if they please.
EDIT: Hatty. - buffalofan19
Thanks for your concern, but it never has anything to do with back and forth between knowledgeable posters. It's a discussion board, after all. |

See, the problem is, too often around here, the need is to change the CONVERSATIONALIST to something more interesting. Follow? - Der Kaiser
People are also free to ignore what said conversationalist has to say. For whatever reason, they don't.
Also, I fail to see how a discussion about whether or not a certain market can work in the NHL is as disruptive many in the past. |

All hearsay if the Oilers want to move Eberle, it's the media yet again. Just like it's the media with Myers, he's on the way to be traded or it will happen soon but yet he is still here. Stewart and Stafford have been moves 3 or 4 times this week by Garth alone.
Hard to say no if you are Murray about Eberle IMO, you make a trade for Eberle or ROR FOR EXAMPLE now you may or may not take yourself out of the running for the 1st or 2nd pick. Or do you move guys like Stewart for just a pick and stay the course? - SABRES 89
I think either way it's a move he'll make on draft day. Once you know where you're drafting you can better asses what you'd be willing to give up and what's off the table.
It wouldn't shock me if the oilers kept eberle and decided to move Nugent-Hopkins should they pick 1st or 2nd. |

IMO they don't move any of the 3, i'll be shocked if they do. I think they would rather move Yak but as of now don't see it happening. |

Agreed, but market will be very thin there. It's probably not the type of player you'd overpay for (as oppose to a two way guy). A carter type trade would be ideal.

Yea, from everything i've heard the current management team is far too enamoured with them.

He's not great. He's good but I wouldn't trade a lot for him.
He's on pace for about 15 goals this year |

They want a young forward that can score and he can , not saying they want him but that's is what they are looking for. |

I just wouldn't want to give up a ton |

I know Myers would do it but I would not do that, maybe Psysk and ??? I say Psysk because he was mentioned to me before about how the Oilers wanted him from when he played for the Oil Kings.

Here's a little allegory:
Before I moved to this house, my fat stupid divorcee neighbor had two Lhasa Apsos that traipsed around in her back yard yapping their heads off all hours of the day and night. They were amazing with respect to the sheer quantity and frequency of the noise they made.
The divorcee thought the two Lhasa Apsos were just the cleverest little darlings in the world, but she had no idea how the rest of the neighborhood abhorred those aggravating little fu€k€rs, everybody Was completely fed up with their yapping and her cluelessness. Finally, I walked over one day and asked her politely if she could find a way to keep the Lhasa Apsos from driving everyone nuts.
She said "Can't you just ignore them?"
We had a block party when that stupid no-self-awarenessdivorcee moved away and took her yapping nuisances with her. |

Here's why this doesn't apply. Four posters don't represent "the rest of the neighborhood".

So with how "dominating" the Western Conference is, why are 4 of the top 5 teams in the east? |
