No way he would have accepted that. No way.


Look at it logically. 27 year old, entering the prime of his career, on the back of his best statistical year on record, with UFA status and not RFA.

He was going to make AT LEAST 4 on the open market. There was no way on earth they were going to get him for any lower than that.
