What are you basing Morin, Hagg, and Alt's readiness off of? Please do not say preseason, where Blair Jones looked like Sidney Crosby.
- jmatchett383

Exactly.

Evaluating the kids and figuring out when they might be ready to make the jump to the Flyers is a big part of Hexy's job.

All this talk of trading half of the Flyers current D corps for picks is fine in theory, but if there's no one to fill in the gaps, it really doesn't help anything. They might be able to get a couple of stop-gap guys at the deadline who'll sign for a year, but most FAs of any worth are going to be looking for long-term deals.

We should probably deal Mason now.

Cant ever to expect to win in the playoffs down the line with a goalie who cant play in back to back games because of the math.

i really think dallas needs defensive help for sure. same with SJ.

if they dont figure out their own end, their seasons are going to crumble quickly.

I don't want to trade them all. I know you need some guys to return. I think:

Coburn- Could bring decent package and maybe more if you package in Read or someone
MacDonald- I would prefer to move that deal and use money elsewhere
Grossmann/Schenn- I think one could be moved.
Del Zotto- Would move for right price but fine bring back.
Streit - Will be back
Schultz- could come back again as the number 7.

It totally pays for itself within a few months, with their stupid rental fees being what they are. No need to even get an expensive one.

MacDonald and Grossmann would be my choices, and hang on to Coburn for the last year of his contract next season.

That leaves Coburn, Streit, Schenn, DelZotto, Schultz and Coldcuts to finish the season in the top 6. It's not a great setup, but it's workable as long as Carlo stays healthy.

Great movie.

No, really, I must know.

I'm ok with moving Coburn but only if they can at least get a late 1st

The guy who installed our new one from Comcast told me to go buy my own. TRUTH.

- mayorofangrytown

I got my own, not because I had any trouble with a Comcast one, it was just faster to get and install when I wanted it. Netgear ftw.

I would want a 1st and something else. I think you can get that from a team making a playoff push or a team going into the playoffs needing to solidfy their backend

Sometime when you have a couple hours, check out Kevin Pollak's interview with Cary Elwes. A lot of PB stories, and a lot of laughs.

Elwes was pushing his new book, As You Wish, so the entire show is PB. Good stuff.
