I understand your point I really do but, Nolan won't let them tank. They are playing as a team that won't as of now make the playoffs, I agree we need that 1 st or 2nd pick next year but other teams are screwing that plan up for us as of now. Long season left you never know what will happen.

Like I said, and a few others, Edmonton is sucking harder and theres about 3 or 4 others teams trying to out suck us or at least considering it hard. Plus we have the word Buffalo in front of our team name. The nhl doesnt like that and neither do the guys who fix the lotto.

I agree with that, long season. I just really hope we can land one of those guys. That is all we have heard about, and to me it would be disappointing to walk away with niehter.

I (along with buff19, Sabres365) have agreed the team looks better, multiple times. I like and enjoy when the team wins. However when I point out that we have gotten out shot and are getting lucky, I am responded to with "Get a new hobby", instead of any type of intelligent response.

look at how bad the d was then

look at how bad the pp was then

look at the quality of shots on the sabres goalie then

look at how myers was playing then

look at the little things like playing sam 17 minutes and burying flynn


the sabres were getting outshot 3-1 in some of those games

part of it was how bad the team was playing then, part was the quality of their opponent

Calgary is showing there is nothing wrong with playing hard, being managed well, and continuing to improve while your young players continue to improve. That said, there is no way to tell if that will end up with their current group getting a cup in the next few years, but there are multiple ways to achieve the ultimate goal, which is all that Homie, 89, and some others are saying.
