Couturier and Read had a bit of jump near the end...Couturier did a good job of carrying puck into the zone...unfortunately he looks like he has no idea what to do with it when he gets there

Couts needs to pass better and Read needs to receive better -- there should've been a one-time shot on goal off that delayed odd-man rush with about 3 minutes left

That's not me being cruel. Not saying it has to be a goal. But a play like that has to get executed at the NHL level

Honestly I didn't think it was a bad pass at all. Read had his stick there, and Coots put it right on the tape. It was a good pass to snap off a quick wrister.

Scoring goals is really difficult, and I understand that. But it's gotta be even more difficult when the shots you need to get on goal, as a skilled player, don't even get squeezed off

His latest album is just fantastic. Great lyrics on that record.

That's what makes it frustrating -- if you're a bad team because of talent, then I understand. But at the same time, you're an NHL player. Maybe you don't think the game like Crosby or pass as well as Backstrom. That's fine -- that's why those guys get paid what they do

You're not an idiot. You and everyone here knows the drill. Get a shot there, and who knows? Maybe it finds a hole, generates a rebound for a trailer. Just gather the pass and get a shot off like a 17 year old could have done.
