Nice. I'm going to have my nose in my med chem notes. Tonight's menu features G protein coupled receptors and protein kinases

Not joking here- really cool stuff. Except...well...the whole gauntlet thing it is associated with is not cool even a little bit

Or it's just as simple as this:

Feanor and others think that starting Emery is the better option, based on the math.

You and other think that starting Mason is the better option, because you discount the math.

It's got nothing to do with your presumed enhanced understanding of the game that you chose the one you did. Because more often than not, if you choose that option, you're going to be wrong, which means you know jack-poop.

That's all the math says: If you choose that option, more often than not, the goalie playing the back-to-back will perform worse, and the team will lose. Whichever comes first isn't what the math is for.

- AllInForFlyers

Again, the math does not say that the goalie will perform worse. All it says is that SV% and GAA is up. That is not independent of the team in front of them, or the game situations, or any other number of factors.

And the problem for me is not that he thinks Emery is the better choice, over Mason, or why he thinks Emery is a better choice. It's that he called the coach desperate and a dunce for playing Mason. You either missed that part of the conversation, or just glossed over it. That's the issue I have.

You should be the psychopharmacological advisor for the board members who are going to need help to get through this coming year.

Need to appoint someone like Jsaq or BigEEE to be the chairman and collect fees

People will be desperate as the orange tank rolls along month after month

They may spend time with their wives and go to home and garden shows

That is a frightening thing

I saw the entire start. I don't care what he called Berube. Because what is relevant is what Berube does.

I only care that that Flyere win tonight. I am hopeful that Mason will play well, but I acknowledge the simple fact that for whatever reason, the math says it is more likely that his numbers will be less than they normally are, which is not conducive to that outcome.

The why or why not will be shown later.

Just remember the 3 keys to being a successful lawyer:

1. Suck up to the judges
2. Suck up to politicians
3. Play golf

That's all fine, but I do care. And ultimately, I'm with you in caring about if the Flyers win. Which is why my opinion is to play Mason. And you know as well as I do, if he played Emery, and he didn't play well and the Flyers lost. Somebody would be blaming Berube for not starting Mason.
