despite the F up at end, this game was lost because the Flyers once again refuse to take shots on goal, preferring to pass around for the pretty play.

I saw the shift where they dominated the Sharks for several minutes, keeping them pinning in their zone (1st period, I think) and I don't think the Flyers took ONE shot on goal for all that hard work.

this is just a stupid ass team.

its because they're always kept to the outside when they have any kind of possession. hey small victories though.

The Flyers are literally in front of one team that hasn't made the playoffs in 9 years and another team that has had at least one-third of their projected lineup out almost the entire season

I don't even know what has happened to this franchise

- AllInForFlyers

yet the sharks were lucky as (frank) to win that
ridiculous

Homer happened ... and his ill-advised efforts to replace Pronger with a bunch of slightly above average D men.

That's it. That's all they have got to show for 24 games played

Sharks have been mediocre all season. Especially at home. Flyers...this is what happens when you're a bad team, with no confidence and undisciplined play

On the bright side, it's the first time this season the Flyers weren't shutout when Voracek didn't record a point.

Um, I think the glass is half full

They were, and I know that you are correct

But then you look at the standings and you realize where they are and you just have to,ask yourself what the (frank) is going on here

Bill Parcells used to say a lot of great things, and one of them was "You are what your record says you are"

And that is some sobering poop right now

The Flyers had a good first, a poor second and an evenly played third. They have the talent to skate with other teams, good ones at that. But the consistency in execution & tendency to make dumb plays at bad times kills them.

He was definitely fighting it tonight. Saw him lose the puck a few times without anyone around him. It was really the first game all year when he didn't look like the best player on the ice.

they weren't good either. i did not see a team desperate for a win. i saw a team play an ok road game against another mediocre/poor team that played an ok home game. and they found a way to blow it, wasting another gem of a game from their goalie.

No, they deserved better, just like Minnesota and even Boston on opening night

They should have had points in all three of those

I don't even know, what the (frank) to think right now

They can't be this bad
