Why not just build one in beautiful downtown Elizabeth if we're going for Edison?

Also, you're encroaching on Rutgers' land up there. They'd fight tooth and nail to keep all forms of outside entertainment as far away so they can rake in all the money from local food/sports spots.

My oldest graduated college last year, is working in a back country ski "resort". Cabins, wood fireplaces for heat, propane stoves, and out door plumbing so pretty basic, but very beautiful.

Middle son is getting his teaching degree, has about 1 year to go.

Youngest graduates this June and has a job lined up with Vanguard, so he will be moving to Philly!

In about 18 months will be done with tuition payments, yay

Yes. They took all our dead weight, including the nachos, and gave us RNH, Draisatl, and Klefbom. Feeling guilty that the deal was better than they deserved, Flyers management backed out and instead opted to give Umberger an extension.

My dad was always a beacon of what a parent should be like. He was never a huge "rah rah" guy, but he did physically pull me out of a game once when I took a stupid cheap shot at a guy. Also, at a different tournament, a kid on a team (we weren't playing at the time) took a 2-handed swing at a kid's head when the refs weren;t looking. My dad started screaming at the coach (who was that kid's brother) to take him off the ice immediately to protect the kids, or he'd beat the poop out of the coach after the game for endangering the other players. The coach did reluctantly do it.

But, aside from those isolated cases, he always was a model of a sports parent and made sure the kids were never taken advantage of without meddling.
