Hodgson for Kadri? Spector mentioned the Leafs may move him.

Pass, Kadri under teddy nolan is a recipe for disaster.

That's my point though, the trade doesn't do anything for us or the leafs.

WGR just mentioned during my drive to work that the Oilers have gotten 3 goals total from all of their 2nd round and later picks since 2009.

I'm not sure 2009 is the best cutoff point anyways. Look at Buffalo:

http://www.hockey-referen....com/teams/BUF/draft.html

Only 2 players have done anything in that same span of time.

A case of selective stat use.

I'm sure it is. But if you take into account that Zadorov and Girgensons weren't our 1st pick of the draft in their respective years, we're doing quite a bit better overall.

Hes a cocky kid big deal. I know the type. There are much worse things a player could do off ice. I would still welcome him on this team (not that its going to happen)

Im with you. IMO I really think they wanted more north Americans and were not interested in drafting another Russian. Sounds pretty stupid but I really think that was the case. They really should have went with the guy with more upside. A little frustrating because I see lemieux as more of a bottom 6 guy. I mean the guy has the intangibles and an edge but I cant see him as a goal scorer at the NHL level. Just my opinion though

He's a cancer in the locker room and a coach killer . Need one heck of a coach to control him . He needs someone like Babcock for a coach.

Ever been in a locker room with a cancer ? Can tear a team apart whether you believe it or not. Besides his stats have come back down to earth last few years.

Have I ever been in a locker room with a cancer.. No I have not but I'm guessing you have. I am also guessing that you have never been in the Winnepeg Jets Locker room.. so how would you know hes a cancer? It seems like he is friends with quite a few of his team mates so I doubt its as big of an issue as you make it out to be
