If the forwards hit a slump, this isn't a team that can win a lot of 1-0 or 2-1 games.
Yikes. - Pecafan Fan
i have no doubt that Bergevin will make a move or two to shore up the defence. |

Can't believe Beaulieu is in the minors and these old pylons on the ice. - Fredobface
The old pylons are bound to get hurt soon, Tinordi and Beaulieu will be back. |

i think you're more likely to see a trade. if they feel those kids aren't ready, they won't play them. |

Yeah... Probably.
But does it really matter how you shuffle Allen-Weaver-Gilbert? They'll still suck whatever Therrien does and he's stuck with them for the time being. |

i would dress Gilbert every night. this is a slow defence and he's a big guy who can skate and move the puck and i have no doubt he can give you 12-15 solid minutes on a third pairing with third pairing competition. Allen and Weaver are similar. Weaver is a bit more mobile but that's negated by the fact that he sucks. so if you're going to have a poopty dman whose main contribution is blocking shots, would prefer the bigger/tougher player. |

well they are dead last in the NHL right now so they've got a pretty good shot at McDavid. |
