A football question: what does Gradkowski do well? He stays on the sidelines with a funny face and talking only. Is he a decent backup?
- Barnaby36

He's alright. Native of the city. Backup options aren't tremendous.

Yeah I know he's in Town but is he better than a Hasselbeck? What is the highest paid backup QB in the league?

If you know any site for football like "capgeek.com" It would be cool.

Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell are great players. Hope they stay in the Burgh for a long time.

I agree the blog is very misleading because German Titov certainly didn't lead the Pens to a record setting November.

I went to that game last night, and was very entertained. It was my cusins first pens game and he had a great time.

We were sittin in the rafters for periods 1 and 2 (not bad seats though, right below the press boxes center ice) We noticed how empty the place was so for 3rd period we moved to 3 rows back behind carolinas net minder. That was awesome got an up close view of erhoffs goal. Sad how many open seats it was. Seemed pretty much 50/50 pens fans carolina fans. We travel well

Would anybody here trade Nick Spaling for Jussi Jokinen?

I would

At this point I view Spaling as a negative in the Neal/Hornqvist trade

I'd rather have the capspace, and Jokinen is an easy 1.8 million dollar upgrade in productivity and lineup flexibility

even just the fact he can take faceoffs for Malkin on the second line makes it a plus

I can't see the panthers trading him after giving him that money and term

The money and term would be a reason for us to stay away

The Panthers are all about handing the team over to their youth, Getting $$$ and term off their books helps them with that. Spaling might be what they'll look for since he fits the bill of what helps them

Younger, Cheaper, Less term on his deal,

From the Pens perspective, would you do it?
