I don't know about that...he never played an full-bore type of game...

methinks with myers playing much better that coho's the new whipping boy...not saying he's playing great, it's just that people are analyzing his play to death

He looks disinterested out there.

just another example of a sabre getting paid and becoming a fraction of the player that got him the contract

that shows a players true heart, grit and character and those players have no place being on the team for a rebuild IMO

The problem is those players are few and far between. It's also why I kept saying that any contract more than three years long is a bad one for this team right now.

Not for nothing but it happens to a lot of guys that sign long term big deals. More pressure.

It's why a lot of big FA deals look bad the fist season.

Dom had a few bad games in a row.

That's a streak. AKA streaky.

Was Callahan even on the Market at any time ? I thought Tampa signed him before he hit free Agency . So how were we even supposed to sign him ?
Glad he is having a great year. Playing with Stamkos can help your stats . He went to the ideal situation . A team set to win now. When Buffalo would be ready to do some serious winning ( 3 - 4 Years ), Callahan would be breaking down from his aggressive play .

Again I ask what does Callahan's play have to do with the Sabres ?

- Maximum Signal

Just last year, he was on the market? Many on here said he wasn't worth the interest!

Quote from Tampa fan

" I like Cally he is a good player but there is no denying his stats are being padded by one Mr. Stamkos. On top of that Stamkos is playing great, they focus so much on him it allows Cally or Killorn to find open space in front of the net"

Just like Hornqvist in Pitt.

Are they good? Sure, would they be playing that way here, absolutely not

Myers plays 30 min a game!!

If you think Callahan would have half the points he has on this team, I have a bridge to sell you.

Real cheap.

From 01/02-03/04 Adrian Aucoin avg'd 28:53, 29:00, and 26:37 a night.

I never considered him a number one guy.

If Boedker is available, the Sabres should be interested.

He's not a number 1 just because he's eating minutes.

He's not getting scored on, while being paired with a fringe NHL'er

He's played 60 minutes in the last 2 and doesn't have a goal against while on the ice

Probably best left for the off-season. I doubt he's actually available anyways.

Good for him.

The right deal comes along, I wouldn't miss him.

If they keep him I'm ok with that too.

Just not going to make him out to be something he's not nor IMO ever will be. In two years he will be our number 3 if he's still here.

Who would replace him in two years? Certainly not Zadorov. He's miles away as evidence of last night.

When Mike Weber takes your shifts, you aren't close

A lot can happen in two years.
