Did anyone else see in the 3rd period, down 4-2, and the 2nd line got Lundquist to freeze it, then berube changed lines, and before the drop, berube looked like he was yelling at Simmonds on the bench, and Simmonds shook his head and waived him off (basically F U coach)? I was at the game and saw it very clearly, but not sure if it was caught on TV.

ahh yes the once a year deals...like Gomez for McDonagh? I am still convinced Umberger is hurt. Doesn't mean he shouldn't be criticized. But in the games I have watched it just doesn't make sense.

Sometimes players just lose it. Rangers saw it last year with Brad Richards. I think Vinny has lost a step and can't keep up anymore.

Yes, it seems that is what they thought they tried but I never thought Hartnell was a net negative. I disagree whole heartedly and feel he is a good player that could potentially have a drop off in a few years (yet to be seen). So I personally don't agree or at least think they really missed the mark on that while RJ and Vinny are blatantly shot.

I'm talking Mike Richards or Semin or Clowe or Gionta (potential too good for this list) or Bolland or insert other poor contract here.

After writing this I am feeling sick and need to sit down for a while. Maybe not such a good idea.

U r a rags fan in flyer country, and I'm a flyers fan in rags country. I can deal with the Ilses and Devils announcers, but the rags guys are the absolute worst. Who is the hoe moe sideline reporter?... John giovanni?? Omg the worst.

I would be happy to trade Umberger or VL straight up for those guys. There aren't many players I wouldn't trade those guys for

Carter will need to be 50 years old before we bring him back to suck. Richards, I could sadly see and think we would regret. We should have never given him that terrible contract to begin with! I guess it would only be fitting to endure it again.

Holmgren acquired Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, Couturier, Raffl, Laughton, Read, B Schenn. And top prospects Gostisbehere, Morin, and Haag that everyone is excited about. And some solid defenseman in Coburn, Grossmann, Streit, and MacDonald.
Where is all the damage? That this team is woefully underachieving, is not the fault of Holmgren.
