This team in person is SSSSOOOOOO much worse than watching them on TV. It is really really bad. Chief was yelling at Simmonds after he got Lundquist to freeze it, and it looked like Simmonds waived him off. In person, Laughton is THE most talented player on this team.

More talented then Giroux and Voracek?

Yeah, thats just (frank)ing inexcusable. If VLC and Umberger remain in the lineup then there is no doubt that they are tanking. Jay Rosehill is a better player than either of those 2 assclowns at this point and thats just (frank)ing pathetic!
- BiggE

Vinny had 5 minutes of ice time today, lower than Rinaldo. I would be shocked if Vinny isn't a scratch next game.

Vinny and Umberger are going to play unless they get bought out or are traded. Not saying it's right, but it's just the was it will be.

Yes. He skates with power and most of the time makes the right/ smart play. I like G but he never drives to the net, and forces too many passes. I like Jake, but if none of

so (frank)ing sick of seeing Lecavalier moping around. It's his own (frank)ing fault poophead, you hand chose the Flyers, and he's the one who keeps proving you don't deserve NHL ice time. It's borderline unethical that he hasn't retired yet and forfeited his salary.

There might not be a huge difference in the outcome of the game, but sitting Lecavalier or Umberger for Bellemare or VandeVelde or whomever would be a message that a big salary won't assure you of a spot in the line up.

There's far less accountability from the coach when a guy playing as poorly as Umberger Or Lecavalier continues to dress-an get more ice time than- over guys like Bellemare.

Rinaldo has been an undisciplined mess for the last few games...still dresses, gets PK time. Grossmann & Coburn have struggled, Luke Schenn gets benched. Finally, MacDonald gets stapled to bench. It's about sending a message and holding guys accountable.

You want to put a sign on the wall that no one guy is bigger than the team, then stop selective accountability.

Well Voracek is 2nd in the NHL in scoring, and Giroux is 6th. Giroux is 3rd in the NHL in assists, so not to shabby for forcing a lot of passes. I like Laughton and think he's going to be a player. But he is not more talented then Giroux and Voracek. Not even close.

In person, Laughton stands out more than anyone else. Same thing I was saying about Raffl last year around this...

MacDonald was scratched, and he makes 5M a year. So that's blows you theory of having a big salary out of the water. Rinaldo, even though he took a couple of penalties, comes to play every single game, and every single shift. Berube is right to not scratch him. You can't scratch every player, so regardless of who he chooses to scratch, it will be selective. It's selective by nature. And unless it's who the fans prefer, Berube will be criticized regardless of what he does. In the same way that he was criticized regardless of what lines he put together. This coach can't win in your eyes, no matter what he does. There's no objectivity whatsoever.

The players who are most impressive for the Flyers this year are Voracek and Giroux.
