Nicklas Grossmann has the same number of goals as Vinny Lecavalier and Matt Read and one more than R.J. Umberger. #FlyersTalk

if by "game" you mean "season" and by "a few minutes" you mean "the whole thing"

Someone tell someone on this team you can play angry and actually do something aggressive.

I just dont understand how a team can be this timid.

every team is so much better at passing the puck than the Flyers are.

therein lies the root of our problems.

I really wonder what his thought is when he benches players. It's like he throws darts at a board sometimes

Let's remember Hexy traded Hartnell and we got Umberger.
- LJF

I'd prefer to judge him off more than 1 move. I agree though, it wasn't a good decision.

I agreed with the Schenn in favour of Ronald MacDonald

Simmonds has two lines? What lines have made things happen outside of the top line? Wayne Simmonds is most definitely a top line player.
- SuperSchennBros

Two linemates is what I said. We all know the Flyers are a one line team, and they are producing without Simmonds, so I'm not sure of your point. And Laughton, Simmonds, Raffl look pretty strong to me, and they are getting some chances. And we'll just disagree about whether or not Simmonds is a top line player, cause I don't see it.

Re: 60 pts, realizing, of course, the sample size is small, Akeson put up .5 pts per game in 8 games last season. = 41 pts in an 82 game season, this in his very first set of NHL games, most of which were facing a stingy team with one of the best goaltenders in the league. It's not that big of a stretch to say he could develop at the NHL level to the point where he could add to that scoring pace to the extent that he could total 19 more points (at his peak) over the course of a full season.
- exlund

It is a big stretch. It's a huge stretch to say that a player who can't win a regular role in the NHL, and was passed up by every team in the league at no cost in player assets, is going to develop into a player that puts up first line winger numbers.
