Fire everyone in the Flyers organization this team sucks. A bunch of heartless, worthless pieces of poop. Other than that I love this team.

Berube has ruined the growth and confidence of countless players. Explain Read, Coots, half the defense, Aekson, Braydn Schenn, everyone not named Giroux or Voracek sucking

That goal is on Couturier..The puck was bouncing like crazy on Coburn, no excuse for our defensive gem to not clear that puck..

At least he has offensive superstar potential

For the love of god will someone on this team make an aggressive or angry play. I seriously don't know if I have ever seen a more passive team in Philly ever.

If I'm Hextall I keep Berube for the season though. New draft odds for this year. Don't need to finish last for a good chance at McDavid. Bottom 4 has a decent chance.

Lecavalier takes stick in the head and the evidence still lies on the ice. No call.

Hot Lava wakes up every morning and calls Homer to thank him for firing him from this joke of a team. He gets into his car and drives happily to the rink knowing he has another team with a chance to win the cup.

When you have a tactical mastermind waiting in the wings like Berube, it's a no brainer.

I'm ok trading players later in the season. But see above for my comments on Eberle.

No one will trade a number 1, and definitely not for Couturier. That's just a reality. You have to bank on Sanheim or Morin being their #1. Then you built out from there.

They flat out need a dynamic LW to give them 2 legit lines. I don't trade Couts or any other young player just to make a deal. But...if I could get a Hall type player for a package of Couts and Coburn, maybe with a lower tier prospect like Straka, I'd do it.

I know right..Clearly it was Berube's fault that Couturier god didnt clear the puck on that play which lead to a goal.

How about this..its the players and they just arent good enough regardless of if you have Bowman in there.

Like I said, that's one outlier. And it doesn't prove anything with regards to Akeson. 29 teams passed on getting him for nothing.

You do realize that 60 points is first line level scoring for a Winger?

And I didn't say that he doesn't have any upside. I asked about the upside that you think he has.

- MJL

Re: 60 pts, realizing, of course, the sample size is small, Akeson put up .5 pts per game in 8 games last season. = 41 pts in an 82 game season, this in his very first set of NHL games, most of which were facing a stingy team with one of the best goaltenders in the league. It's not that big of a stretch to say he could develop at the NHL level to the point where he could add to that scoring pace to the extent that he could total 19 more points (at his peak) over the course of a full season.

Who know he is a very good coach, but this team doesn't have the players that fit his style.
