bad bad trade for the Flyers. They will say Hartnell has one more year on his contract thus the trade was worth but don't trust them. They know they blew it just like in the JVR for L.Schenn trade.

It is a future deal. Umberger is done after 2 years and is a cheap buyout if they go that route in his final year. Hartnell may be better now but he will be worse in a couple years and still be under contract. This was a deal to add cap space to the roster. I don't see Umberger lasting more than a year.
