Im saying trade offense for defense and spread out your talent. YOu have all your eggs in the offense basket right now, and literally nothing in the back end. Now all of your star power is stuck trying to play defense- which is counterproductive.

If you're so hot on RNH, then keep him and trade Eberle.

Pick which 3 of the below you want to keep, and trade the rest to address the needs of your team. It isn't rocket science.

I don't think it's fresh. In fact it's so overwhelmingly obvious that I don't understand why passionate Oilers fans haven't torched the management group yet.

You have to trade talent for talent. Bring in Yandle, Bring in Thornton, bring in whomever is available- but you have to pay the price for it in guys that you may value- you can't assume that you can just toss junk at teams and they'll hand you big pieces.

The most confusing part to me is that you have so many assets to bring in big pieces, but it just seems like there's an overwhelming hesitancy to move them.

And you act like these deals are actively available to the oilers. Thornton has a no trade. Yandle is a big piece of Arizonas core that they would not just throw away at the drop of a hat.

Thornton won't waive to play in Edm. Neither will staal. Neither would miller last year. Etc etc.. Ud know this if u paid attention .
