probably pining for the fiords

Akeson was (frank)ing incredible...scored twice, beat the poop out of a guy, made 23 saves...killed penalties, saving a kid choking on a hot dog....

Gordon & Blair Jones looked good tonight. So did Cousins and Straka-at least until near the end of the game when Cousins got himself a ten minute misconduct for taking a shot a good seconds after the play was blown off sides.

Oliver Lauridsen looked atrocious. Consistently was letting guys get behind him.

Akeson MVP of the night. Looked amazing. Lived up to the art Ross billing

no trading coots it would be a mistake

they aren't getting oel or piet or subban for him so a 2nd tier guy is not worth it really

- Marc D

That is because Couturier is not anywhere near enough to get one of those dmen you listed.

It's okay though...He is a solid 3 line center right now and that's an important part of building a winner.

And gave BiggE the correct instructions on finding his 'special exit' from the Caesar's parking garage.

I went for undergrad. I loved it. People there are very low key and easy to get along with.
- PhillySportsGuy

haha they must have missed that memo in the law buildings. i really do get that vibe from the undergrads though. yeah, you have a lot of the typical people that fit into each stereotype and do their best to make sure you know it, but by and large low key seems to be a good way to describe the overall atmosphere.

I left them in E's car. Whoever vacuums under that seat next is in for a treat.

would you trade him?
I'd like to keep the young guys and keep adding to them

I like what I've seen from Laughton so far

B Schenn and Couts can stay and we will see what they become if it was up to me

definitely. worst case scenario, i think he ends up becoming a jordan staal type for you guys. i just see laughton as ultimately being pretty close defensively, but with better offensive awareness and drive. however, given the current construction of the flyers, i think an already pretty well established and solid Dman around the age 22 to 25 may be an even more important piece for the flyers.

i was thinking about it a good deal today and this was really the first time i entertained the idea that you guys could possibly be better off moving him in a reasonable deal.

its just my opinion but i think moving youth doesnt necessarily undermine a retooling strategy as long as it is traded for more youth.

The guy in the booth gave us 20 minutes of material. The Ebola cough is also now my "go to" move to secure elevator space
