Thankfully, I'd rather see Schneider in NJ - Nucker101

I think the Oilers would be all over that. Philly is smart, he reminds me of Bergeron before 10. He had the concussion issues, but still people wrote him off because he didnt produce. - FiretheGM
Yeah, I know, it would never happen, they would be stupid to give up on either guy this early.
Especially after giving up on JVR so early, (stupid Holmgren).
But when you have Giroux, Schenn, Couts, & now Laughton is showing he belongs, (he doesn't seem to have a weaknesses in his game, well rounded).
You never know, it does make you wonder, especially when you only have one line going most nights. |

I don't know to be honest, I think Edmonton would be a lot better with da Schneids and the division is already strong enough as is. |

Perron MUST be thinking "I'm from Montreal, I go from St. Louis, to deadmonton, and now to fkn Columbus, Ohio!?!?!?!" Talk about playing in some of the worst cities in pro sports...unlucky guy. lol |

I think the guy just wants to win more than anything. Seems like a pretty competitive player. |

Hard to tell Schneider is great but he has also has the luxury of playing in front of good defensive teams, I'm not so sold that he turns Edm into a playoff team by himself. Scrivens and Fasth both looked good before getting to Edm as well.... |

I don't think he would either. NJ is not good defensively this year and he still has solid numbers despite getting overworked because their backups suck. |

I still love the ginger goalie for sure, would take him over Miller.
I don't mind Bo + Matthias + Miller though. |

I dont know for sure, but it comes down to why I am really good at poker, and make a living off of it. You can take small amount of information, that makes it self out to the mass threw the media, analysis it, look at all of it from a bigger picture, to get to the truth. The same way you look the way the table bets, and the cards on the board. - FiretheGM
The key is that you don't know for sure, so stop passing your guesses off at fact, shut the (frank) up and get back the casinos. |

I still think you guys will have to move one of eberle, hall, rnh to get the pieces you need. It could seriously weaken the depth up front but adding a solid goaltender and a defensive defenseman who can play 22 minutes a night would greatly improve the Oilers as a team. The issue is finding players like those available in a trade. It doesn't happen often at all, unless it's cap issues or a trade request. - Isles_since_6

If the Oilers could get Couturier or B. Schenn for Perron, I think they would do that deal.

Not RNH ... moving a center would hurt.
Hall, only if it was a real significant deal, like Pietrangelo coming back.

I'm the only regular Oilers poster that is beating the drum to explore trading Hall. Not getting much love from the peeps but he's the single piece we have that might be traded for enough to fix this Piece of poop. |

Well please post where I said that I was/am however a luongo suporter. Schneider as mucker will tell you I was never a fan. - Bieksa#3
Uh huh. Did you forget saying that Aaron Ekblad was the best Defensive prospect since Chris Pronger? I don't reminding you every six months for the next 10 years either, when he turns out to be very good, but not all that great. |
