Pens are jumping tonight. Gotta stay out of the box however. - madmike71
Ohh Kabooom ,what a Geno blast. So much hop in their step tonight!!
Is crosschecking a penalty anymore. I think Kunitz isn't sure either. |

I love how our 3 best players are passing the puck between them and being a scoring machine. Best case scenario for a team when you have your 3 highest payed players being the 3 best on the team.
Let's not forget about Fleury, Hörnqvist, Kunitz.....
Edit: I'm glad we don't have a Scott Gomez, Di Pietro or Brad Richards on out team |

Good list...
The turkey that I thought of was Robert Dome... remember that disappointment?
Also, honorable mention to Konstantin Koltsov... All the speed in the world, but hands like me. - rival22
I remember Dome being touted as the next big thing. The only thing he was memorable for was the way NHL 98 mispronounced his name DOME...
Koltsov is on the short list of Pens players I've ever met. My wife and I sat next to him, Sergei Gonchar, and their wives at Umi Sushi in Shadyside back in 05? I resisted the temptation to ask him if Koltsov was Russian for "hands of stone" because he seemed like a pleasant guy. |

I hated the Zubov trade, but when Mario doesn't like you, your days are numbered in Pittsburgh.
Kevin Hatcher.....one of the softest big guys I've ever seen. |

Hatcher was a talented stud before he got to the Penguins...and then boom. |

Shot attempts: 17-17. Maple Leafs outhitting Pens, 12-8. Penguins 10-12 in the faceoff circle. Craig Adams played just :10 at even strength.

That doesn't bother me too much. Goc getting similar treatment does a bit though. |

Goc has nothing to do with Adams shortcomings He should get a few shifts with some real scoring treats |

Don't look now, but Comeau is on pace for 27 goals this year, despite getting almost no power play time. |

Don't worry some on this thread will blame it on Kunitz ... " he looked slow on the play" lol ... JOKE!!! - Brianandr1
Hey Brian Chill everybody loves Kunitz but they are only worried about his "change of style" not his numbers. His change of style can be detrimental to his line in some ways if you know what I mean. He's absolutely a top 6 forward but hasn't been the guy he used to be (body checking, working hard on the corners). Age gets to you......I say we bring N.Foligno and Tlusty. All we need to make all the lines work propperly. |
