Well this team's management is pretty (frank)ing retarded. Last night on 1260 they had a very good point to question everything this organization has done on and off the ice. They were questioning the tactics used to get the new arena, more specifically cheaper tickets so that families could attend games. This was promised back in 2007/8 and has it happened? Nope.

They were even questioning how the 50/50 is being run. Especially with how the Oilers Community Foundation is involved. Essentially 50/50 has risen to new heights with electronics but the minor teams that are benefiting from it are seeing the same amount of money as they did before when there was no electronic printing. So essentially these teams aren't benefiting as much as they could be from this, and the Oilers Community Foundation is pocketing the rest.

There was more that Gregor was talking about that raises huge concerns that I have with way the whole organization is being run.

I am thankful for so much this year. Me getting into med school, Halak, Snow doing stuff this year, John Tavares, being in first and of course who can forget the lovely Paige. And you?

We still need a 2C next year. And a 3 C.

I agree but do we trade Perron to get it or can we acquire one through other methods? I hate to call it this early but I think we can agree that the odds of the oilers making a comeback and getting into the playoffs at this point are not great. IMO we still need a dman and a starting goalie. I like the two we have but neither have the ability to carry the defensive core we got. We have great young talent on D and we need a goalie that will help them. I would rather keep playing acro and Draisatl for the year than trade our top goal scorer from last year for a third line center. Especially when the top 2 picks in this draft are amazing.
