It might help Yak if he gets a better spot in lineup(with Perron gone).
Then Draisaitl to wing or juniors? I say wing |

it was announced he was on the trading block the day after he spoke out... - SpoiledByOil
Doesn't mean poop except that the writers know when to push a story. Doesn't even make it true, now that I think about it. |

Jesus Christ you are a sensationalistic bastard ain't ya?
He's being shopped because other teams like the player and the contract. He has value and no one wants our poop.
Having said that I think there is a devide or clique in the Oilers dressing room and I don't think accountability is consistant. So I would like to see 2 of Hall, Nuge, Eberle and Schultz sent packing before Perron. - Jeropotato
We should just trade everyone but Drai, Nurse and Klefbom and build around them and this yers first. Can get a lot of quality players out of the rest of our core. Rebuild the rebuild |

Not trying to be a douche here but doesn't that contradict what you just said? If there were a clique that would push him out the door for speaking out would it not? There seems to be players with much more value on your team that could be traded and would probably send a much more clear message IMO(for whatever that's worth with my limited knowledge of your team). |

How is he not? He's Purcell at C - SpoiledByOil
I always thought he was very good defensively. He's not gonna crash the net or anything, if that's what you were looking for. |

I could care less what the writers want to say. As soon as he spoke out and then was said the be on the trading block the very next day that;s the first thing that popped in my head, and with the history of this team (Souray) it should be the first thing that popped in everyones head. |

No it doesn't. Hall and company are not the ones making trades. |

That's what i'm looking for, someone who's going to hit, battle in the corners, and jsut basically bring a physical attribute to this team. Would much rather trade for Dubinsky |

you are not wrong
I just think moving Perron has good value and your not moving anything big like eberle, yak, or your first. Maybe having a more stable middle might help other areas which could buy more time to find a good deal for a D man or goalie - Redmile247
Why can't we alwasy agree like this?
Perron has the best trade value. Sure, Eberle or Yakupov may make more sense (to a certain degree), Perron would most likely bring in the best return for what the Oilers need. It'll suck losing Perron, but preventing Arco/LD from being the 2C and 3C would be a much needed upgrade.
Maybe LD is shifted to wing in Perron's spot and is able to flourish with having reduced defensive requirements. |

I feel Eberle and Jultz are more expendable. But as we both agree, Perron brings in the better return for our needs. |

I find it hard to Believe that Perron has more trade value than career high 76 point younger Eberle. |

Yeah. I knew it would be a story, just don't think that's MacT's motivation for trading him. |

Lander's potential is way higher than Yak's. |

If somehow Jagr is playing next year, do you think MacT puts a bid on him, and if you guys were Mact, would you?
I mean he has it all (maybe except for speed lol)
Grit, Strength, he can still score and he is a veteran to the game. |

Or maybe LD is sent back to juniors/Europe to play out the rest of the year thus limiting his exposure to the derpacolypse that is the Oilers. |

Perron: playing style, tenacity, truculence, cap hit, physical play.
Eberle: excellent finisher, great hands, looks so graceful when skating, adorable gap-tooth smile |
