I hate the Canucks but love Vancouver.
I love the Oilers but hate Edmonton.

If I could submit a list of teams to NOT be traded to, EDM would be near the top. I love the team, past and present, but this is the truth that shouldn't be denied.

Vancouver is gorgeous, aside from the extremely "pink" tinge to it.

It is more expensive than Edmonton, but I actually found rental prices pretty similar to what they were when I was in Calgary. But you get what you pay for. Not a lot of other places in the world where you can go skiing in the morning then hang out at the beach in the afternoon. Maybe me and these studies and all those city planners are bias, but it's one of the best cities in the world. Having a hockey team that isn't a perennial last place team (anymore/for now) is just a nice perk.

What would you guys think of Perron, Eberle, Ference and a 2nd for Anisimov, Foligno and J.Johnson? i honestly think its good for both teams.

LOL, so sensitive. I'm not bashing anything, just stating the facts. Vancouver is known world-wide as one of the most beautiful and liveable cities on the planet. There's a reason we never see Edmonton near the top of any of these lists... or why big name free agent avoid Edmonton like the plague.

Vancouver is nice if you can be downtown or north van. The rest is crap. The burbs have a lot of unemployment and poverty issues. Its not as perfect as you make it out to be.

I live in Rmd .This is an awesome city. There are other districts that are pretty damn good also.

But the cost of living here is fairly ridiculous.

That's what makes Vancouver a great place. We can't just barf up a bunch of auto-centric sprawl as there's no room. Helps make it a walkable, dense city.

??? I find them overly friendly, docile even. Ottawa could very well be the most boring city I've ever spent time in. lol It looks great in the fall however (worth a trip to the Gatineau casino anyway!)
