I lived in Calgary for a couple of years while I was working on a PhD then got the (frank) out as soon as I was finished. Place was almost as sh!tty as Edmonton.

Outside of downtown was pretty monotonous. I was actually doing school and work in the urban planning field so I'm an expert now. Bottom line: Calgary blows. Edmonton is even worse. Good to be home.

Injuries and no heart. He has the skill when he decides to use it, but 98% of the time he's slacking or injured. Looks like a 4th line player at this point, to many other prospects have passed him up. I'll actually be surprised if we keep him next year.

Point is in any city there is urban sprawl and areas that can be made to look bad. They are trying to bash Calgary and Edmonton yet Vancouver has one of the worst transportation infrastructures in North America.

I'd much rather try and find a minute muncher on the blue line rather then the center position. Someone like Coburn or Phaneuf.

Possibly Drafting McJesus this off season so that will help the center position. Although he doesn't have pro experience which is a negative.

Then trading the farm Yak + 2016 1st + Klefbom + something else for a stud d-man.
