I think a lot of Oilers players, like most of the Leafs players would suddenly improve dramatically as soon as they got away from those teams.

poor scouting/drafting, outside of the obvious #1 picks, poor player development, bad signings/trades are all managements problems.

to me, and probably the majority of you, know that this an issue that needs fixing starting with the removal of much of the upper level management...Loew, McTavish, Eakins.
