Apart from 9 goals against vs Tampa, Hanks numbers are crazy good, including 4 shutouts. Add in Talbots shutout, and tats 5 shutouts in what, 21/22 games, thats better than 20% of the games played. If only the PP played to those numbers ... goaltending is not an issue.

Similar to last year, the early games skew the GAA higher and the SV% lower. Last night broadcast showed a graphic of Lundqvist's stats over the previous 13 games (including the previous 5-1 loss to Tampa) ... GAA was under 2 and SV% was north of .930, with 4 wins via Shutout.
The overall numbers and how they are projected out for the season can change dramatically game to game this early in the season.
