Holy awful you've got to be kidding me, never seen calls that never go our way get called against us all night

Another embarrassment,Happy Thanksgiving boys, I'm not thankful for this garbage team effort, hope thy choke on their turkey

- HankdaTank

Only got to watch from the middle of the 2nd period on, but didn't seem like a poor effort. Defense was solid nd showing more offensive potential, GW goal let up was a deflection, nd the Nash nd Hayes lines seemed effective.

As you've mentioned, yes Glass is useless..but he's a max 10min a game 4th liner who's not effecting our playoff positioning.

Cally is playing on a line with Stamkos so idk why it's a surprise to anyone to see his numbers rise.

That call on Kreider was pretty ticky-tack at that point of the game, but it was a cross check. After some of the calls that were ignored by the officials, it seemed like a strange time to break out the rule book. Think we all need to accept that Krieder has a known distinct reputation in the league since the Price incident.

Glass is effecting this team, he does not do one positive thing for this team, 10 minutes is 10 minutes too much, he was responsible for two goals tonight because is a unskilled plug, AV and this team are failing way too much, teams are pulling away from us while we try and waste time to "figure it out" is this shyt play really necessary, maybe we just peaked in June

Christ we have Tampa on Monday again, hope they just finish this team off, maybe a 6th wake up call is what they need, just make it a clean sweep of embarrassing efforts

I really thought kreider was going to take a step forward and be a force this year. He's been invisible on most nights. Not using his speed and going to the net, no big hits, not getting under people's skin. He's non existent.

Agreed, but I'm not going to blame the Rangers loss on that call.

What's killing me is these games mean a thousand times more to Callahan than us and he's showing it, two heartless gutless efforts and Cally has the last laugh again, I can't even call it competitive

Thankfully so..we should tell Cally he is playing against anyone else but the Rangers. Killing his former team this year.

Glass needs to get taken out of the lineup. He was responsible for 2 goals tonight, provides nothing physically save the VERY occasional fight, provides no offense and is just flat out terrible. Maybe put MCL in his spot I keed I keed.

Kreider(my 2nd favorite Ranger next to Hank) has been a HUGE disappointment to me this year. I thought he was going to be noticeable every shift but most nights I don't even know he is playing. I want him to agitate and toss that 230 lb frame around.

Hayes has been a great. Brass has been fine to me. Zucc needs to step it up although he had a goal tonight.

Your team has moved on well without him; there's no need to gripe about St. Louis issus any further for Tampa.

Wasn't a pointed comment towards you just generalizing because I know a lot of Tampa Bay fans hate St Louis now and focus a lot on that. To me, especially how they look against the Rangers, it looks like they are going to be fine without St Louis.

Of course with Philly up the next two games he won't sit, he's an abomination to the game, he can't skate, handle the puck or know where he's supposed to be on the ice, why oh why did we trade Dorsett? Sather really knows how to make a team worse, I still pretty hot about this loss, again there's no way Callahan is scoring two goals in that game if he's wearing a Rangers jersey, Happy Thanksgiving everyone and I'm thankful that Monday will be the last time we see Tampa this season, also thankful it's not March

We don't hate St Louis, we hated the way it all went down. That is what everyone has been saying. We booed him when he touched the puck, we cheered him during the tribute video which is how is should be. The fans in the arena did it right and had their chance to express their feelings so now all the Tampa fans can move on. When he retires he will be welcomed back to the Bolts nation.

As for the game, the building how so much energy the first period it was fun to be there, the second kind of lulled but that is to be expected. NY is a good team as once we got the 2 goal lead they pressed extremely hard, cut it to one but then the Bolts weathered it and clamped down in the end. And King Henry is a top 3 goalie in the league.

3 observations. 1. I read on this thread some complaining about the Stamkos goal being soft - it was not soft it was a rocket fueled slapper placed to the top corner no goalie is going to get it. 2. I don't think Rick Nash is a dirty player but that hit on Ondrej Palat was dangerous. 3. Your top line was good in the game and I really liked the way Mats Zuccarello plays, Brassard and Nash were good to they kept sustained pressure it was the only line the Lightning had trouble with in my opinion.

One more to go on Monday, weird scheduling.

Stamkos' goal was not soft; he is the best goal scorer in the game today and that type of goal is vintage of such an elite scorer. He found the hole and hit it.

I think the Rangers are a playoff team but it looks like Tampa is a true contender this season which means the Rangers, if they have any designs of making another run, would likely have to go through Tampa to get there. From the looks of it a Tampa-NY matchup would not bode well for them.

Still a long way to go, scenarios can very easily change, but thus far it seems that Tampa will be a team with home ice advantage and the Rangers will be getting in as a lower seed.

I've been reading Jans blogs for a bit now and think they're great. Anyone think switching Krieder and Duclair is an option? Krieds seems scared to hit in fear of taking a penalty

Its been my hope that Duclair play with Nash since about day 1, leaving Kreider to play the big body role with Brass & Zucc ... just haven't seen it, nor can i say i really expect to anyomore.
Thst said, a timid Kreider is no better for the Rangers than was Avery on Torts short leash.

Good point on Kreider. With how he has played lately he is simply not a good NHL player.

He needs to play in your face hockey but he takes too many bad penalties. He has to learn how to play on the edge and tough without costing his team.

the loss sucks but no way they lose on monday, i feel pretty sure about saying that because,
1. Hank still has to become hank, he hasn't really had any games that he actually won for us ans till has to heat up
2. kreider will get going he just needs one to go in, step and MSL were playing well it will be okay
3. hayes and duke will also start to put up points that just is inevitable
4. our defense needs to adapt a little bit again but they are finally healthy and boyle potted one so they will be allright

let's just hope all this happens before nash goes cold and than we are a contender, people forget that we have had so many injuries and we're still above as to where we were last season, so chill

Stempniak in for duclair at practice. I just don't get it. With the flyer ' s shoddy defense duclair has room to make plays.

Players who afraid to take penalties, usually do. Krieder needs to play his game and not worry about if he's going to get called. If he losses his aggressive style, he losses his game. It's on the coaching staff to impart that on him. Not the opposite.

Speaking of the coaching staff still not thrilled with the way Duclair is being handled. I see a tremendously talented young player who needs more time with someone other than the 3rd or 4th line.

Glass is useless.

Apart from 9 goals against vs Tampa, Hanks numbers are crazy good, including 4 shutouts. Add in Talbots shutout, and tats 5 shutouts in what, 21/22 games, thats better than 20% of the games played. If only the PP played to those numbers ... goaltending is not an issue.
