Setagouchi on waivers....
Finally |
|
|
|
You know what I'd actually love to see?
A Baertschi - Monahan - Gaudreau line for a couple of games...
I love Bouma, but he's not a top line winger, and Baertschi's completely wasted on the 4th line. - jtommyt
I agree I think Hartley is trying to make all 4 lines as equal as possible so he can roll all 4, but at some point you have to put skill with skill and let bouma be a 3rd/4th line stud like he normally is |

no don't imagine, but at the very least it starts the process of sending him down |

Just taking the piss Colin. I realize you have a full time job and hopefully a life outside of hockey blogging. - Mr.Pink
Appreciate it! But at the end of the day, they pay me to do this, so dont like to use excuses |

So far it looks like only Jones. Backlund still has no timeline. Colborne is getting closer... he should be the next one back. I think that's when we'll see Seto waived. - jtommyt
Well thats done as of now, yay, and this means maybe colby and backs are closer, I think i heard jones is almost back, great to boost his value |

Crap I knew I missed someone
Who do we sit for stajan than ? I'd pick Jones but not based on his play, more based on the others
I'd assume Sven might be the odd man there tho based on previous lineups |

I wonder if they've told Jooris to find a place to live. With Setoguchi's gone, I don't think Jooris is going anywhere anytime soon. |

Agreed....give him a shot for a game or at least a couple periods. Bouma is not a first liner even though I love the guy! - The-O-G
I hate how people use these "Advanced Stats" but Svens PDO is pretty low.
Based on his play the puck just isn't going in when he is on the ice and is going in when he is on the ice. I liked the Jooris Byron and Sven line. I thought that they were the most effective when this line combo was together. IMO they should adjust the lines as follows:
GlenX - Mono - Jones
GJ - Granlund - Hudler
Byron - Jooris - Sven
Ferland - Knight - Bouma
AND SETTO is finally on Waivers! |

I wonder if Colin, being a leafs fan, has finally lost interest in Hockey?
- Mr.Pink
You honestly thought he ever gave a fiddlers fck about the Flames???
Sorry lads...still write more blogs than most guys here, but last two weeks have been stupid crazy for me. Should be back to normal. I am, and have been however, a legitimate follower of the Flames for 20 years now.
Cheers. - Colin Dambrauskas
That's just Whip after a bottle of CR. You know not to take him seriously!!!
Seriously though, can I do a GFY piece every Friday composed of the Top-10 worst posts of the week? Give the people what they want!

So the ducks move to pick up Borque was pretty smart. You need to let him clear waivers so he plays in the minors. Trade for him. Then keep him in the minors as a back-up plan.
There are no re entry waivers so they can bring him up at any time. |
