Toast is beautiful; definitely a staple of British cuisine.

Man, Carlyle would starve over there

Thanks to the kids, I've started making PB&J sandwiches for myself again.

Tasty.

Too bad I can't send them to school with one.

In house it has to be raspberry or cherry jam, can't slide strawberry by the kid.

Ok, the situation is its a 5 on 4, the first unit has just failed, so Kadri goes over the boards, and proceeds to draw another penalty. we are now on a 5 on 3....but guess what happens, the first unit goes back out. I'm pretty sure I've seen this happen on several occasions this season.

Anyways whatev....it won't change a thing and maybe it shouldn't. As long as they keep playing like they have in the past two wins, I'm fine with whatever Carlyle decides to do.

I hear what your saying, and in that scenario I suppose I agree with ya

Don't most teams play their top unit until they can't skate any longer?

Pretty much sums it up. The 3 best fan bases in the NHL...makes sense. Too bad the Leafs couldn't make the playoffs.

The true mettle of a breakfast-serving restaurant is its homefries... Any old bloke can fry an egg or whip up some bacon or sausage.

It takes some real (frank)ing skill to make delicious homefries.

- TheThrill

Straight potatoes? Go frank yourself. Don't even bother to put it on my plate.

Throw a ton of onions and mushrooms and poop? OK, now we are talking.

Or eff it, just give me tater tots. Yeah, I know, but what 'evs. They are yummy.

Funny you mention that; I only learned how to scramble eggs when living with Mrs Lums for the first time, as I (frank)ing hate eggs so never had the need to make them.

For my homefries btw, I cook some bacon first, remove the bacon, add some onion, mustard seeds and cumin seeds to the bacon grease. Cook 'er up a bit, then add in some previously boiled potatoes and finally some cheddar...

EDIT: Serve with some pan-fried tomato slices topped with a pinch of chopped oregano

They do, but considering Naz's track record from last season, especially on 5 on 3s, you'd think he might get more of an opportunity. Anyways, I get the point, 0 points is 0 points. Looking forward to tonights game and the trashtalking between Naz and Sid.

I solved my own issue, I punched myself in the page for talking about Kadri. Now lou won't have to crush me.

Consider yourself lucky - at least your kid has some consistency.

My 6-year-old will refuse to eat things - "I don't like this."

"Really, you won't eat mac'n'cheese? Because you've already eaten it 200 times this year, and you've liked it every time."

"ummmm....I don't like the cheese!"

"Really?"

The little one is going to kill me.

Oh dear God man. You can't just toss some potatoes on there. That's a (frank)ing insult!

No, homefries are an art form. Mine personally use garlic and onion, fried until damn near crispy and then some shredded cheese tossed on top.

Ten-4 on the tater tots. Had them with my breakfast the other day. I was in a pinch and had no time for real homefries

I gotcha. I've been calling for Naz on the first unit with Philip for a long time now. Even when they were playing Naz on the top 5v5 line it seemed like Bozak was still with Kessel on the PP, no?

Funny thing is, Franson has (frank)ing been a catastrophe on the point, allowing so many short handed rushes that I want to (frank)ing vomit, and he will never be taken off the 1st PP unit.

I usually don't mix garlic and onion together. Depending on the taste I want I'll pick one or the other.

Both are (frank)ing delicious though

Depending which I am using, I will use the other one in powder form.

Diced onions = Garlic powder
Minced Garlic = Onion powder

Just a habit I have gotten into

Proof that MLSEL doesn't want to win the Stanley Cup.

Stupid Bettman.

Stupid Rogers.

- Atomic Wedgie

Yeah, how much could they be worth if they were a perennial playoff team going a few rounds or more each year? Insane value.

I'm actually petrified of the fact Cody has looked semi decent this year. We'd better get behind the idea that Dion, Cody, David, Phil and Joffrey can bring a cup home in the next 5 years.
