I HIGHLY doubt that Myers gets traded for that chump change... Murray would have to be intoxicated to make that deal. The package is awful! You want to reunite Jordan Nolan with his father, then trade Meszaros or Benoit to the Kings for him. Afterall, he's only a 4th line winger.

How would Murray expect to ask for a prospect like Mantha, regardless if Detroit would part with him or not... and then come back and imply this package of 2nd hand assets may get it done? As you stated, I'm sure the Kings would be willing to make that deal... in a heartbeat!

The unusual part is that Garth is the one that usually proposes trades in which the Sabres completely rape the other team. In this case, he's asking to be raped. This is a new side of Garth we are seeing.

This is absolutely laughable.

Nolan - Just because his father is the coach of our team doesn't mean we are interested. We are not running a family reunion. Plus his father is gone after this season.

Shore - He's nothing more then a 3rd tier prospect IMO.

1st rounder in 2015 - Only thing that's even worth mentioning in this dreamed up trade proposal. I'll tell you this much that

Myers will not be traded for just a first rounder. Definitely two of the very best prospects LA has to offer + a 2015 first rounder.

Zykov, Pearson, Watson, Kempe and McKeown any of these two plus this season's first would get it done.

Shore has been nothing short of amazing for the Monarchs this year and the second half of last year.

AHL player of the month, 19 points and 10 goals in 17 games. Excellent faceoff man, PKer, and PP center.

Third tier prospect? Maybe two years ago when his projection was a 3rd line center, but he has taken some huge steps this last year and a half. Looking more like a potential top 6 center, definitely top 9 with special teams ability.

What kind of awful would it be to have picks 2, 28, 29, 30, and 31.

Pretty awful. I'd rather have 1, 16, 25, 30 and 31

So I tend to stay away from "bad apples" but what you just said, might make a lot of sense. I would hope he could get a bunch more in a package with Kings for Myers, but I would not be opposed to that (as long as it was a 1st and or another great prospect). We pretty much already (or with upcoming draft picks) will have all the "role" players we will need in 2-3 years, just need another Star player or 2.

I do honestly think that Murray is worried about the league thinking he is tanking if he does trade a few of our players for non NHL players currently, especially before the trading dead line. But I say out with Myers, Stafford, Stewart, and maybe Hodgson by the end of the season and we will have quite a team in the future. If we have 20 highly rated prospects and 10 pan out, we will have quite a team in a few seasons.

Nolan can't coach an NHL team anymore and will never have success in the NHL ever again.

Jordan Nolan is nothing more then a glorified AHL talent.

1. Why would Pittsburgh give up basically there only center not named Malkin or Crosby? They need someone to run that 3rd line not going to happen.

2. That's way to little for both Nail and Perron. Plus Yakupov's a bust.

3. I doubt the Ducks GM would be drunk enough to give up Etem for Meszaros and a pick.

Your deals make no sense from the standpoint of the team not named the Sabres. I'd rather do deals that make us better in the offseason anyway. This is a big draft for us. We need a top two pick.
