Guys like you respond this way when someone does not agree with what they write..you call them a troll.

Show me the data that indicates that Lessio was OK? Right you don't have any. You sit somewhere else and write your stuff just hoping you will get a response. You did, here's another one Domi will be no better than a 3rd line plumber, write it down.

I don't care at all when someone disagrees with me. But you begin by saying this:

I'll stop by and I am a Yotes but it's painful to read your stuff.
- Bones

So, I don't really think you expected or deserved anything else. Anyone who disagree's me and isn't an jerk doesn't get anything but a respectful answer.

Edmonton would have to be on crack to trade their first ay this point. Perron is ok but and id do that deal to get their pick but theu wouldnt.

Personally we don't need any more 18 wonder kids no matter their potential, what we need is somebody who can contribute right now.

But you do realize that Connor McDavid will likely make the NHL as an 18 year old and compete for the scoring title? This isn't a guy who will take time to develop. Whatever team he goes to is basically an automatic playoff team the following year.

I hope your being sarcastic. The Pens didn't make the Playoffs when Crosby was drafted, and without other changes the Oilers likely wouldn't either.

They probably would never part with 15 pick(for good reason) but would you do an Eberle for Yandle swap? Just curious, because for as often as Yandle is mentioned in trade rumors you'd think that getting a scorer of Eberles caliber back in a trade would seem pretty good... Even though he's not lighting it up right now, on the right team he'll be a stud again.

Well, it's Trolling Tuesday, so you'll never know............but honestly, you could be right, it is probably ridiculous to declare anyone who gets him a playoff team, but if it is the Oilers, that's different. They are way, way ahead of the 05/06 Penguins.

Yandle for Eberle is a non-starter for me. Yandle needs to be moved for a centre. Or a better winger. I just don't feel it with Eberle.

The Oilers definitely overvalue their players. I remember a couple years ago I was saying the oilers should trade Yakapov for Hamilton (this was after the lockout season. Every oilers fan actually got mad at me for suggesting that. My reasoning was the oilers needed a dman that is ready for the NHL but would fit into the young group. The would of still been able to draft nurse which would give them a nice young core going forward.

I don't know when that changed. It seems they sent us Pronger and Cogliano in separate trades for a couple of bags of pucks each.

I think what happened is a fundamental misunderstanding of science - they took those pucks and planted them, hoping to grow their own Prongers.

Truth hurts sometime, you are not close enough to the team to know but you have a mouth piece. Keep forging ahead.

By out of the play-off race do you mean currently holding a wild-card spot?
- Tumbleweed

No, I mean the Leafs will not be in the playoffs. Barring a turn out in play from the defense, the 2nd-3rd lines, and the goaltending tandem, the Leafs will be a 8th or 9th place in the conference team.

I retract the not making the playoffs to barely making the playoffs/not making an impact at all (not that my Wings' will do either, they have many issues too).

But I was drunk when I said that. I apologize for the troll attempt. I do stand by my revised statement that the Leafs aren't going to make it past the first round if they even make the playoffs (although, they'll do better than the Sens and Panthers. (frank) Ryan/Turris and Fleischmann/Thornton )

You should retract the apology. It's Trolling with Tanner Tuesday.

And seriously, the Leafs won't make the playoffs.

True enough.

I like Tanner. He knows he's trolling because he knows he gets reads and comments by trolling. He puts work into putting up a decent blog each time that really could make sense to a semi-special needs person at the bottom end of his blogs. On the high end, he's credible and elicits some fun feelings. I hate that he's a Coyotes blogger and wish he was the Habs, Bruins, Pens, or Leafs full time blogger. His type of out-there writing are perfect for tier-1 fan teams.

Damn, i feel like thats the best comment ever, specifically because it is complimentary while also perfectly encapsulating Trolling Tuesdays. Good stuff.
