Don't get used to it. I'll probably get annoyed and go away for a few months shortly.
Try not to think about it too much, just enjoy the time we have together now. - canadianpenfan
it's no fun around here anymore anyway, nobody appreciates a good trolling anymore

oh my, I'm out of my league
but for real, I guess it's just the ebb and flow of the season. Right now, there's all that early regular season hope going on. I can't wait for the stretch drive uncertainty, followed by postseason despair. That's when I'll shine. |

How was Kunitz in the playoffs last year? He looks slow, if you read my entire post I said he is still top 6 talent, just not an anchor. He is a complimentary player. I love Kunitz and what hes done, but FFS he's 35 same with Dupes something was bound to happen to bring one of them out of the lineup. Dont your love affair with Kunitz cloud the big picture. - sammy87
"Kunitz will be dead weight by the end of the year" yeah none of your insight is backed by any statistics!!! As far as playoffs last season... Where was Crosby the last three games??? No??? Right I forgot kunitz is "old and slow" ... So ridiculous |

I read your blog the other day and i fail to see any early season hope. Postseason despair, on the other hand, seems very likely.
I DVR'ed the Flyers last night and watched it after the Pens, Mason was sick. He can't be happy with the forwards today. |

The critism is based on no statistical evidence!!! In fact the stats for last season and this season suggest he s getting better!!! |

Kunitz sucks, he's probably the most worthless player on the Pens, he would be in the ECHL if not for Crosby. I dont even know how he made it this far in the league. |

we can't have postseason despair if we don't have a postseason
CHECKMATE, ATHEISTS
(but f'real, Mason's been so good for us. It's a shame they're wasting quality starts.) |

He actually does produce less in the playoff than in the regular season. It could suggest that his style of play takes it's toll on him over the course of the season and a lesser roll would make him a more effective playoff player. |

Tend to agree with this at least a little bit.
Also, is there a stat for the number of times a supposedly tough/rugged player stands by idly while watching his Captain/Linemate/OlympicTeammate get his ass beat during the playoffs? |

I'm not saying that he needs to be third line, but a second line shooter instead of grinding it out could make him more productive come May. Let the younger forwards destroy themselves getting to the puck. |

You obliviously dont read RW's very much. If you did, it would be clear that the true reason why the Pens fail in the playoffs is MAF.
Look, I never said 14 was a bad player, he just isnt want he use to be and he is showing age and slowing down. The games Ive seen this year, hes not winning easy battles, not going to the corners as hard as he use to. Tie that in with last year where he watched 87 get abused and you can draw your own conclusions. That's the problem with stats, just about anyone will get pts riding shotgun to 87 and 71, but there is no stat that shows character. |

Please make sure to wave this in the face of the Rangers, Flyers, or Islanders troll of your choice at the most convenient opportunity. (None of them made the top 10, so they can offically suck it) |
