Question.......how is our inability to have HALL OF FAME PLAYERS acceptable as a fan base....?

I was very upset with the sequin trade, but the cap is the main reason for that IMO. If they won the cup last year with Iggy we wouldn't have cared as much. Thats where Chia really gets the blame. Too many contracts paying for future potential and most have no trade clauses. Thats why Boychuk is gone too, that and the depth at D Chia thought they had. But basically salary cap league means you can't keep everyone.

At the end of the day players like Johnny NEED to be traded.

We have Seindenberg locked up for two more years.......

Chara for ATLEAST another three......

We should have Hamilton locked up....hopefully soon....

That's three much older vets and a future (hopefully) number one center......you following.

Then we have Miller....young player, part of the future....he is a top four D man ATLEAST.....

Krug is a power play specialist and a young top four or five D man.....

That leaves one spot....ONE SPOT......we have Mcquaid.....warsofsky......Trotman......AND LUCKY FOR INJURIES......MORROW....?

not arguing,... hell, I still miss mark stuart, and we're already overpaying mediocre players like kelly. Sieds.. has been a beast over the years... i'll argue he's been our best D, this year, he still looks like he's recovering. Chara has looked old at the end of the year every year. but it is what it is. Yes,.. give the kids a chance to develop, Bruins are going to make the playoffs, and if a player like Bart (whom I'm generally hard on) can get some more ice vision and awareness before the playoffs... thats good.
