I will write it out for you, when your SOFT wingers refuse to engage along the boards and win puck battles, Bozak is left to try and cover for them. He is in proper position on the D zone.

Now in O zone he has to fight along the end boards because his wingers won't, so he is the furthest behind the play going back up the ice.

Not rocket science people to figure this out.

100% correct, which is why Kadri is still the better option, he actually carries the puck with > skill than bozak in all areas of ice to negate the effort of trying to retrieve the puck.

I do watch the games
But since I am told that something happens (I assume more than once) I would like the person claiming it happens to show it..

can you narrow it down to a specific game?

Sure. Bozak is a defensive stud, leaving his man in from if the net all the time...... losing an offensive draw and letting his man go to the net and being 40 feet behind him while he scored.

give him the selke. But KAdri is terrible defensive liability.

Yes

Love the way you speak for everyone. People like Kadri but don't need to ejaculate all over a message board to prove it.

Bozak / Kessel / JVR line is fine but to you want them broken up to fulfill some freakish fantasy but cry and call RC pathetic when he breaks up other lines that seem to get chemistry for a few games

I thought Kadri has been very good in the faceoff circle since he started working at it in practice.

It's every game, not every shift. Bozak is along the end boards or behind the net digging out the puck, usually on shot ins. If he is trailing the play when JVR and Kessel are on the rush, he goes to the front of the net in the O zone.

We had this defensive depth, now they are all injured.

It is okay deal but still need to get a scorer for Kadri in another trade.

Did you even read what you wrote??? That line can't get out of their own zone, but don't break them up??

Kessel has 2pts in last 5 games, but don't break them up?

JVR has 3pts last 5, don't break them up.

They both have goods and bads, I'm glad they will both be good players going forward considering he lack of centres this club has produced themselves, the big question for me will be Holland... He certainly has top a 2 centre ceiling and with his size could be the guy the club has been sorely lacking, assuming he keeps improving... It will be iterating if they feel the need to move a centre after this year is over...

I suppose. I don't even know if the Cats would do it, Olsen and Gudbranson are pretty poop, their top-4 of Willie-Ekblad, Kulikov-Campbell is carrying them defensively.

Sure I would like Kadri with Kessel but if the wingers don't fight for the puck, then Kadri is left to do all the dirty work like Bozak is doing. JVR and Kessel needs to grow a backbone along the boards.

Personally, I like having the 3 centres we have right now. 2 24 year olds pushing eachother in the 2/3 holes seems to be a recipe for winning.

And corsi and fenwick and evenstrength points can all go (frank) off when it comes to Bozak. Last I saw, he just scored the winning goal shorthanded. SO bite me.

Mayhaps, but why move your captain and Ekblad's mentor/partner when he's becoming a franchise defender before their very eyes?

Why trade for Mitchell when you're better off getting a Willie Mitchell who isn't past his prime in Brayden McNabb.
